鼻子

但是，一方面良秀是如此地如痴如醉，以常人难以想象的境界痴迷于屏风绘画的创作，另一方面良秀女儿不知为何，变得闷闷不乐，连我们都能看出她是在强忍泪水。本就愁眉不展的白皙腼腆少女，变得越发睫毛低垂，眼窝深陷，显得分外楚楚可怜。起初，大家都以为她是思念父亲，或者为情所困，各种各样的猜测都有。其间，还有一种说大人要强行纳她为妾的谣言也开始流传，之后，大家都像遗忘了她似的，再没人讲她的流言飞语了。
就在这时，一日夜里，半夜三更时分，我独自在廊下行走，那只叫良秀的猴子，不知从何处突然跳了出来，不停地用力拉我的裤脚。在梅花香气四溢，淡淡月光又有些温暖的夜里，皎洁的月光之下，猴子露出雪白的牙齿，皱着鼻子，发疯似地不停啼叫着。被猴子撕咬新裤子，我三分不悦，七分生气，想要一脚踢开扯着我裤脚的猴子继续向前走，后来转念又想起，以往有侍从因责骂这只猴子而惹得小公子很不高兴，看这猴子的举动，好像发生了什么事情，便随它拉扯我的方向走了五六米远。
走过走廊的一个拐角后，白色池水中能看到虬枝松树的对面宽阔无边。这时，附近屋中似乎有人在争吵，慌乱奇怪的声音传到我的耳中。周围寂静无声，月光皎洁，万里无云，除了鱼儿跃水声外，听不到任何声音。听到那里的声音后，我不禁停下脚步，心想，如是强盗来袭，我便可大显身手了，于是摒住呼吸，蹑手蹑脚地走到屋外。>十三
