Author Description

刘梓洁，1980年生，台湾师大社教系新闻组毕业，清华大学台湾文学研究所新闻组肄业。曾任《诚品好读》编辑、中国时报记者，现为专职作家、编剧，兼职瑜伽老师。著有散文集《父后七日》《此时此地》、短篇小说集《亲爱的小孩》、电视剧本《野百合》，曾担任电影《父后七日》编剧。曾获林荣三文学奖首奖、金马奖最佳改编剧本、台北电影节最佳编剧。本书曾获联合文学小说奖。

我想生小孩。
好几个超过四十岁没生小孩的女生朋友告诉我：过了就好了。她们在三十二三岁时也曾经想生得不得了，想到连在捷运上看到两三岁小小孩牙牙学语听到银铃般的童稚笑声都会哭。但是，过了就好了，是身体激素在作祟，告诉你再不生就来不及了。过了就好了。她们拍拍我的肩，过了你就知道你还是可以继续抽烟喝红酒交男朋友浪迹天涯好不快活哩。
是。是身体激素在拉警报。身体就好像一个客气有礼而尽责的餐厅侍者，过来频频提醒你：last order啰，请问要点餐吗？你摇摇头，干啜红酒，以为纯粹的品饮就足够。等到你胃里翻起一阵空虚，挥手请他过来，他只能赧然苦笑：不好意思耶，我们厨房已经休息了。从吧台后方的窗口，你还可以看到厨师助手正对着地板泼下一盆肥皂水。万念俱灰。侍者或酒保也许会可怜你，给你一些爆米花，可是你知道你把这如空气的小云朵一颗颗往嘴巴塞的时候，将无限艳羡着隔壁桌满满的辣烤鸡翅起司薯条墨西哥卷饼双份腊肠披萨爆浆巧克力舒芙蕾佐夏威夷果香草冰淇淋，一桌欢乐像变魔术一样越吃越多无穷无尽开出灿烂花朵，逼得你好想握着刀叉到人家桌边说，分我一口可以吗？
我不想变成那种人。
抽烟喝红酒交男朋友浪迹天涯像一盒随时都可能被撞翻的爆米花，满地狼藉与悲凉随时一触即发。我自知不是那块料，无法过了四十岁无夫无子依然美丽自信叱咤职场。如果没有小孩，我只会蹲在地上一直捡一直捡爆米花而已。
对我，过了并不会好，而是，过了就毁了。
2.性生活
一个没有性生活的人说想要生小孩，就像一个从没买过乐透的人幻想自己中头奖一样好笑。但也许，可以先说说我之前那段有如刮刮乐般的性生活。百元刮刮乐，刮了中一百，再换一张，还是中一百，就这样没输没赢，仿佛可以天长地久。甚至，噢，亲爱的小孩，有次我觉得我非常非常接近你了。
那是我三十岁生日那天。我要搭晚上的飞机去旧金山，中午H请我吃饭，帮我庆生，用他短暂的高级主管午休时间。我拉着行李箱搭高铁去找他，H总是在我出车站大门时就让我看到他。他站在他的车旁边，西装裤熨得笔挺，淡淡笑着，对我挥手。吃了一顿高级的意大利餐后，他送我去搭高铁，我撒娇嘟囔着：哎唷人家五点到机场就可以了，一边把手钻进他棉麻西装外套的袖口，来回摩挲。他当然知道我想干吗，他也痒了，我再把他搔得更痒：今天是安全期唷。我知道他想干脆停车把我抓起来，但他好凛然：我三点要开会，只剩半小时了，你早说就不去吃饭了。哦是啊我早说我们就会从高铁站外带两份摩斯汉堡去开房间好棒的三十岁生日哪。我继续使着小狗眼神，嘟嘟囔囔，手指在他下臂内缘画圈圈。
