山田宗树：

1965年出生于爱知县。日本当代知名小说家。

1998年他的出道作一举斩获第18届横沟正史推理大奖。其代表作《被嫌弃的松子的一生》，曾被多次改编成电影、电视剧，在国内外获得了非常高的人气。

山田宗树的作品涉及医学、推理等题材，曾多次获得日本各大文学奖项。2013年他凭借《百年法》获得第66届日本推理作家协会奖，并入围2013年书店大奖、山田风太郎奖、山本周五郎奖、日本星云奖等多项文学大奖。

百年法：第一章公元2048年

“演示结束。”

游佐章仁操控手边的触控板，屏幕上的影像消失了，变成了无色透明的板子。这块屏幕是用厚达两厘米的阿克莱德（一种新材料）制成，已经远远落后于时代。美国正在开发的产品厚度已小于五毫米，但日本货还是这副德行。

游佐强忍住咂舌的冲动，将显示屏按入桌内。听到落锁时发出的咔嗒声，他才松开手。现在居然还在用手动收纳的显示屏，真是让人欲哭无泪。

继游佐之后，围坐在同一张会议桌周围的诸位也将显示屏按进了桌子。等他们收拾好桌面之后，游佐开口道：“刚才大家看到的三部动画，将在下月以政府公报的形式发送给媒体。最后看到的广告文案，还要刊登在纸质媒体上。”

与会者的视线都落在高个子的游佐身上，他身穿淡灰色西装和米色衬衣，打着蓝色领带。根据记录，他已有八十三岁。但他二十几岁就接受了肉体“处理”，此后样貌几乎没有改变——身体瘦弱，脸色苍白，似乎一阵强风就能将他刮倒；左右两眼诡异地不对称；发型土气，仿佛贴在头皮上一样。乍看上去，他的形象令人反感。但那些以貌取人、轻侮他的家伙，毫无例外都会后悔。

“凭这些玩意儿就能说服国民？”声音从上座传来。仰坐在高背椅上的，就是内务大臣友成靖隆。根据记录，他有一百一十七岁。二十岁时他接受了处理，样子还是二十岁的样子，却让人感受不到青春的活力。肉体的老化可以阻止，但心态的老化还是能显露在脸上吧。

“这只是第一波，故意采用了委婉的说法。如果一开始就直截了当地挑明真实意图，国民很有可能产生抗拒反应。”

“可是，根据各新闻社的舆论调查，回答感到不安的民众高达七成。抗拒反应已经……”

“所以……”游佐毫不客气地打断了友成大臣的话，“必须抓紧制定相关法律。实施《百年法》是既定路线，绝不能动摇。这一点，必须让国民周知并理解。”

友成大臣猛拍了一下桌子：“只要制定法律就万事大吉了吗？国民感情才是问题所在。我们搞的是民主政治，怎么能耍官僚式的小聪明？”

游佐无言以对。他来这儿可不是为了吵架的。

“可是，大臣——”伸出援手的是游佐的直属上司笹原次官。他剃着短发，样貌精悍。据说他是特攻队的幸存者，三十岁时从军队复员，不久就接受了处理。在整个内务省，可以说只有他百分百地信任游佐。“——顾名思义，《百年法》的实施关系到国家的百年大计。无论国民感情如何，担负国政的人绝不能轻言放弃。”

“这个我懂。”

“为了《百年法》能成功实施，必须确保安乐死中心的平稳运营。但法律方面的完善尚未展开，所以国会必须尽快制定相关法律。”

“我说了，这些我都懂。”

同笹原次官形成鲜明对比的，就是这个友成大臣。没什么才干，却动不动就呵斥下属，似乎以为这样就能提高威严一样。

今天的会议主题，是来年即将实施的《生存限制法》，即《百年法》如何在国民中广而告之的问题。简而言之，就是宣传工作如何进行。利用报纸、电视、广播、网络引导舆论早在五年前就开始了。虽然对《百年法》的认知度有所提升，但国民的心理接受度却远远不够。鉴于有必要进行再次启蒙，宣传战略也应重新评估。除了游佐他们，执政党议员的政务官和游佐的部下深町真太郎也出席了会议，但会议的气氛却不容他们发言。

“大臣，刚才的动画您怎么看？是否可以继续推进下去？”游佐问。

“说服力还要加强。重做。”

“那就在第二波宣传片里加强。”

“我说重做。”

游佐静静地做了一次深呼吸，然后微微探出身子：“我想向大臣确认一件事，不知是否可以？”

“什么事？”

“政府对于《百年法》的实施方针，没有丝毫改变吧？”

“为什么这么问？”

“我听到一些传言。”

“捕风捉影的话，你也来找我确认？”

“听说，鸿池首相打算冻结《百年法》？”

友成大臣的表情僵住了。

“怎么样？《百年法》不会冻结，这应该是铁板钉钉的吧？”

“我怎么知道那家伙是怎么想的呢？”

“就是说，也可能会冻结？”

“我不知道。”

“大臣您自己的看法呢？”

“我是内务大臣。这就是我的回答。”

笹原次官使劲使眼色——不要再逼问了。

“你们专心搞宣传就行了。如果《百年法》的实施导致内阁支持率下降，那是我们所有人都无法承受的。总之，刚才的动画必须重做。考虑一下，有没有更有效的手段。”

游佐换上另一副腔调：“其实，准备室还打算起用名人，作为《百年法》实施的象征性存在。但此事尚未敲定，所以还没有对大臣您做正式报告。”

“就是找演艺明星当形象代言人吧？不错。怎么不早点儿这么干？”

“演艺明星当然也在考虑范围之内，但我说的象征性存在和形象代言人还有些许不同。我们希望尽量请到《百年法》实施第一年的适用对象出场。”

友成大臣无言以对。
