Book Abstract

另一个人说：“咱们的叶郎中，那可是中医世家。你别看他年纪不大，可打听打听这一带，有谁不知道他的？我的一个远房亲戚得了头风病，就是在这里看好的。”
天士听着他们的议论，脑海里突然闪过一个念头：要不给姑母换个郎中，让她去找王子接看看？这段时间，自己已是尽力了，可还是药到病不除，莫不是自己在这方面医术欠佳？可这王子接到底水平如何呢？天士一时也拿不准主意。
恰巧，这天晚上邱叶氏又犯病了。天士觉得，该是下决心的时候了！
半个月时间过去了，邱叶氏一脸喜悦地回来了，她的头不疼了。天士仔细研究着姑母用过的处方，原来是天麻丸，在活血化瘀的基础上，又添加了几味补养气血的药。这处方虽攻但不滥伐，祛邪却不伤正，可见医生用药严谨，胆大心细。
天士心想，此人果然名不虚传，我要前去拜访一下。很快，他把医馆的事情托付给师弟二毛，便独自寻师去了。
王子接是吴县有很高声望的医师，每日求医者络绎不绝。天士夹在求医的人中间，眼观心记，仔细体会着王子接的处方。他发现，这王子接整个方子中，没有一味可有可无之药。
一天下午，一名产妇被人慌慌张张地抬了进来。原来，这产妇已生产五日，恶露一直很多。在乡下也找医生治疗过，可怎么也止不住。并且，奶水迟迟不下。产妇的丈夫跪在王子接面前，红着眼圈说：“这搞不好可是两条人命啊！”
王子接匆匆扶起产妇的丈夫，说：“快，把人拾到里屋，以免伤风。”
王子接经过一番诊查，心里稍稍有了些底。此时，天士也在一边思索该用何方，于是凑上去看。王子接在写最后一味药时，对身边的徒弟低声说：“产前不用热药，产后不用凉药。此产妇乃热盛迫血妄行，我已用了两味凉药，可是又要顾护体虚的一面，这滋阴的知母还要不要用呢？”
这时，站在一旁的天士突然冒出一句：“知母两钱，母子安全！”
王子接一惊，回头看看天士，赞许地点点头，写下了“知母二钱”。
当天下午闭馆时，天士正要往外走，却被王子接一把拉住。他把天士叫到里屋，说：“小伙子，你站在我身后看我诊病，也有几天了，你到底是干什么的呢？”
