提起南宋，往往众说纷纭，莫衷一是。长期以来，不少人把“山外青山楼外楼，西湖歌舞几时休？暖风熏得游人醉，直把杭州作汴州”这首曾写在临安城一家旅店墙上的诗，当作是当时南宋王朝的真实写照。虽然近现代已有海内外学者开始重新认识南宋，但相当一部分人仍认为南宋军事上妥协投降、苟且偷安，政治上腐败成风、奸相专权，经济上积贫积弱、民不聊生，生活上纸醉金迷、纵情声色。总之，南宋王朝是一个只图享受、不思进取的偏安小朝廷。导致这种历史误解的原因，在很大程度上是出于人们对患有“恐金病”的宋高宗和权相秦桧一伙倒行逆施的义愤，这是可以理解的。

Author Description

方健，1947年生。江苏苏州人。1968年大学毕业，现为苏州市经济贸易委员会高级经济师。业余长期从事宋史、茶史研究及以宋代典籍为主的古籍整理。现被聘为北京大学历史文化研究所、杭州市社会科学院兼职研究员，上海师范大学文学院、河北大学宋史研究中心兼职教授。曾当选中国商业史学会副会长、中国经济史学会理事。被文化部评为全国优秀藏书（读书）家。撰有学术专著3部，合作编写学术书、译作、古籍整理书若干部；在海内外学术刊物发表论文70余篇。代表作为《范仲淹评传》。

Book Abstract

我只有从认真深入的学习起步。漆侠先生的《宋代经济史》（上海人民出版社，1987～1988年）是绕不过去的巨著，其上册与下册的22章、33章均与宋代农业史相关，因史料的关系，该书侧重于北宋。华山先生是较早研究宋代经济史的学者，他的论文集《宋史论集》（齐鲁书社，1982年）中约有半数篇幅与宋代农业史有关，尤其是《关于宋代农业生产的若干问题》是一篇罕见的力作。近年出版的梁太济《两宋阶级关系的若干问题》（河北大学出版社，1998年）、《陈智超自选集》（安徽大学出版社，2003年）中的相关论文，及其撰写的《中国封建社会经济史》第三卷第二、三、四章（齐鲁书社，1997年）更是常置案头的必读书，从中获益匪浅。
海外前辈学者周藤吉之教授《宋代经济史研究》、《唐宋社会经济史研究》（分见东京大学出版会1963、1965年），曾我部静雄先生《宋代财政史》（东京大安株式会社，1942年）、《宋代政经史研究》（吉川弘文馆，1974年），柳田节子教授《宋元乡村制研究》（创文社，1986年）等是20世纪80年代末东渡扶桑时就已拜读过的名著。对日本学者治学的认真，涉猎之广，视野之宽，功力之深，持论之精，深感震惊。20世纪80年代以来，有关宋代农业史的论文数以百计，我订有一份“人大复印资料（k23）”，凡相关论文多已检阅，堪称“选精”、“集粹”，亦使我大开眼界。
更重要的是：我在日本时，曾在名古屋图书馆借阅过大量的台湾影印文渊阁四库全书本宋人文集，摘抄了大量卡片。近两年半来，我又通读了《宋会要辑稿》、《通考》、《系年要录》及刚出版的《全宋文》（南宋部分）、《永乐大典》影印本等，从中搜集了大量资料，制作了数以千计的卡片。四库全书电子版及李之亮编撰的系列工具书提供了极大检索和考证史料的方便，省了许多翻检之劳。

Introduction

2007年12月22日，举世瞩目的我国南宋商船“南海一号”在广东阳江海域打捞出水。根据探测情况估计，整船金、银、铜、铁、瓷器等文物可能达到6万—8万件，据说皆为稀世珍宝。迄今为止，全世界范围内都未曾发现过如此巨大的千年古船。“南海一号”的发现，在世界航海史上堪称一大奇迹，也填补与复原了南宋海上“丝绸之路”历史的一些空白。不少专家认为“南海一号”的价值和影响力将不亚于西安秦始皇兵马俑。这艘沉船虽然出现在广东海域，但反映了整个南宋经济、文化的繁荣，标志着南宋社会的开放，也表明当时南宋引领着世界的发展。作为南宋政治、经济、文化、科技中心的都城临安（浙江杭州），则是南宋社会繁华与开放的代表。从某种意义上讲，没有以临安为代表的南宋的繁荣与开放，就不会有今日“南海一号”的发现；而“南海一号”的发现，也为我们重新审视与评价南宋，带来了最好的注解、最硬的实证。
