如何冥想
很多人对“冥想（visualize）”这个词究竟是什么意思颇感疑惑。有些人在闭上眼睛想要冥想的时候，为没有在脑海中“看到”一幅画面或意象而担心。有些人在第一次尝试冥想的时候，他们会觉得“什么也没发生”。通常，这种情况的发生是因为他们太过用力而妨碍了冥想。他们或许觉得应该有一种“正确的方法”来做冥想，而他们自己的经验是不正确的或不恰当的。如果你就是这样感觉的，那你必须停止担心，放松下来，接纳一切自然发生的状况。

有时候一个人会完全人为地阻碍其冥想或想象的能力，他只感觉自己“就是做不到”。这一类的阻碍往往出自恐惧，如果当事人有愿望去解决这个问题，它是可以被疏通的。
一个人阻碍自己运用冥想的能力，通常是出自害怕面对向内看时看到心中未被认可的感受和情感。
