Author Description

谷口治郎，1947年出生于日本鸟取县的一个普通家庭，19岁赴东京学习漫画，相继担任过漫画家石川球太和村上一夫的助手，并逐渐开始受到欧洲漫画的影响。
谷口治郎曾和多位漫画编剧搭档合作，创作题材涵盖侦探冒险、历史人物、自然动物、家庭温情、美食生活等。其中和关川夏央合作的、描述日本明治时代文学家群像的《少爷的时代》系列为他赢得了第2回手冢治虫文化奖漫画大奖，和梦枕貘合作的登山题材漫画《神之山岭》系列获得了第5届日本文化部媒体艺术节漫画组优秀奖。
谷口独立创作的漫画拥有独特的叙事魅力和镜头语言，画风精准写实，画面朴素无华。他与大友克洋、宫崎骏为同辈艺术家，属于大器晚成的类型，曾获得意大利卢卡漫画节“漫画大师”的称号，以及法国法兰西艺术与文学勋章，被视为是日本漫画在世界范围内的代表人物。

我的散步
散步这件事—我认为是人类的日常中最自然的行为，同时，也有很重要的意义。此外，散步这一行为是否具有目的性，也是值得考虑的一点。
散步是件非常自由的事。没有目的地的条件限制，也没有时间的束缚。而且，走路的步调及速度都是自由的，还讲究心情闲适。散步时，偶尔的立足停顿也是必需的。
随意地出门散步时，不知什么原因，从那一瞬间开始，时间的流逝开始变慢。自然而然地，心情也变得丰富起来，重新发现那些被人遗忘的、令人怀念的事物，就连云彩的变动也让人感到心情愉悦。看到路边的杂草和小石子，也会产生不一样的感受。有时候我想，或许，在散步时也能体验到小小的旅行。
其实这本书的主人公原型就是我自己。我的散步是为了一边走一边寻找、思考值得书写的小故事，很难说纯粹就是散步。一边走一边探索像画一般的风景，一边走一边找寻着能画成漫画的日常小事。
我从家到工作的地方需要走路和搭电车。有时候也会中途下车绕点儿路回家。这种时候我什么都不会去想，把工作以及烦恼的事情全部都忘掉。像这样走在时间的空隙中，对我来说是唯一能得到精神解放和放松的宝贵时间。
我在创作《散步去》时做了实验，在表现故事时加了一条规则，目的是扩大绘画的表现形式。这条规则就是：尽量减少使用感叹句和形容词之类的感情表达词汇。
我尝试了仅仅使用画面构成所能表现出的程度。《散步去》这本书的故事非常简单，仅仅描绘了散步这一行为，所以不需要说明的文字。并且，我在想表达“真舒服啊”或是“真漂亮啊”这类情况时，我都尽量使用绘画来描绘所有的场景细节、画面氛围和人物表情。就这样，我完成了这部几乎没有对白的作品。
但是，只是淡淡地描写散步这一行为的话，并不是特别有趣。在书中我运用了漫画的表现形式来塑造人物个性，把主人公变得有点怪，即对最细微的事物也抱有兴趣的那种“怪人”。平常人会感到不好意思、做不出来的事情，我也让主人公去做了。如何把这些事描绘成日常生活中自然发生的事、并让人感到有趣，这一过程非常艰难，我花了很多时间在这上面。但整个过程也是一次愉快的尝试。
在人物先行的漫画泛滥的市场中，我这部以风景描绘为主的安静的作品，如今竟也渐渐被读者所接受。对我来说这真是件乐事。但同时，我也得到了“感觉先行、故事表现不充分”这样的批评。这是我在漫画表现中走入的新的“小径”，《散步去》是我一部深思熟虑的作品。
今后的漫画不再仅是故事先行，我开始思考怎样能够自然地表现登场人物的感情。
人类和动物，原本就是非常安静的生物。密集地生活在一起后，才开始保护自己。人们大声喊叫、大声哭泣，这种场景在日常生活中基本看不到了……
即使是无聊的日常中一点点细微的事情，只要好好地深入观察，也会从中发掘出故事。而我学会了如何截取这些片段，并用漫画表达出来。
这就是关于《散步去》这本书我想说的。
