基思·斯坦诺维奇（Keith E. Stanovich），加拿大多伦多大学应用心理学和人类发展科学荣誉退休教授，也是加拿大应用认知科学前研究主席。
他的研究领域是推理和阅读的心理学机制。他著有200多篇科学论文和7部书。在一项对于论文引用率的调查中，斯坦诺维奇教授位列引用率最高的50位发展心理学家之一，也是25位最高产的教育心理学家之一。
斯坦诺维奇教授获奖无数。他于2012年荣获美国心理学会颁发的桑代克终身成就奖，也是唯一两次获得国际阅读协会颁发的阿尔伯特 J. 哈里斯奖的学者。
斯坦诺维奇教授著有畅销书《对“伪心理学”说不》（How to Think Straight about Psychology），该书被全球400多所高等教育机构采用。他的另一部重要著作《理商：为什么聪明人总是做蠢事》（What Intelligence Tests Miss: The Psychology of Rational Thought），获得了2010年格文美尔教育奖。

这种趋势，其实早已存在于现代化的科学社会中了。现代科学正经历一场翻天覆地的转变，它正在彻底翻新许多基本概念，诸如意识、灵魂、自我、自由意志、责任、自我控制、意志薄弱，以及其他—尽管我们的朴素心理学依然远离进化心理学的洞见，也远离神经生理学的发现，对它们一无所知，也不受它们
