Introduction

凯西是一个6岁的女孩，她对妈妈滥用药物的事情很担心。她画了一幅画，画面上有一个山洞，蝙蝠挂在洞壁上。画很有艺术感，但“图画所表现出的氛围”却带有不祥之兆。这就是孩子把对夜晚和妈妈在一起生活的危险环境的恐惧内化后的结果。
当我请凯西讲一讲山洞和住在山洞里的蝙蝠的时候，她感到很惊讶。
因为以前给凯西进行治疗的心理医生不知道应如何与她谈论她的绘画，这样就丢失了一些有价值的、有助于理解凯西图画内容的线索。在和凯西一起探讨她的图画的时候，我也和她的祖母进行了交流。我发现，凯西画的蝙蝠对她来说是真实存在的。她的祖母说，在药物作用下，凯西的妈妈会用力猛击想象中的蝙蝠。在凯西的作品中，不仅表现了她妈妈的幻觉，也表现了她希望通过绘画向人倾诉和被人理解的愿望。
