第1章妊娠高血压疾病的概念
概念是对事物本质的描述，是包含或反映一个客观事物或疾病性质的内在本质和发展过程。关于妊娠高血压疾病的概念，由于在相当长的时期内仅依靠对其表象认识的变化而不断发生着概念上的相应变化，由于对其内在的本质的认识仍不清楚，使其概念一直停留在对其临床表现的描述和概括上。
1 历史及演变
子痫前期一子痫（preeclampsia—eclampsia，PE—E）是妊娠期特发性疾病，以高血压和／或蛋白尿最早出现为临床表现，在一个渐进的过程或不易察觉的过程中突然出现脑、心、肝、肾等多脏器损害为结果的临床过程，并导致了难以控制的孕产妇及围生儿病率和死亡率，使它成为全球孕产妇和围生儿死亡的主要原因。
自古希腊时代就有对此病的描述。1739年，Sauvages教授将发生在妊娠时的急性抽搐命名为子痫（eclampsia），此为古希腊语中闪电的含义，比喻其急。1901年，在德国Giessen举办的PE—E病因学讨论会上，与会代表一致认为，子痫是由于患者血中存在的毒素所致，妊娠毒血症的假说由此被广为接受，并曾一度称此病为妊娠中毒症。
