Introduction

随着云计算和4G移动通信的推进,终端和网络设备都面临巨大的挑战。对于移动通信的终端设备来说,除了在无线传输接口上要采用LTE等全新的标准以外,其发展趋势是移动终端和PC、多媒体功能的融合,设备内部因此需要支持更高的基带和射频模块间的数据交互、更大的存储和数据处理能力、更高分辨率的显示屏和摄像头,因此各种全新的高速接口出现在移动终端设备的内部或者外部。而对于网络设备来说,为了支持分布式计算需要的更快的数据处理能力和更高的数据交换速度,各种声音、图像、数据、网页等服务器的处理和存储能力以及路由器、交换机、传输网的数据交换能力也得到百倍以上的倍增,因此服务器、路由器、交换机上大量采用10G、40G的数据接口进行数据交互,而100G甚至400G的传输接口也开始出现。这些高速接口的设计、测试和验证需要非常多的资金投入,给从事相关设备的开发、设计、测试人员带来极大的挑战,兼容性问题和验证需求爆发式增长。

本书结合笔者多年从事高速数字设计和测试的经验,对高速数字信号的基本概念、测试原理进行讲解,同时结合现代计算机、智能移动设备、有线通信、航空航天设备中最新的高速数字接口的应用,对其关键技术、测试方法等做了总结和概括,以便读者理解和掌握现代电子设备中各种高速数字接口的基本原理和测试理念。

本书内容分为两个部分,上半部分(第1~8章)是高速数字信号的基本概念和测量原理,下半部分(第9~22章)是常用高速数字接口总线的技术特点和测试方法。

本书上半部分的第1~3章介绍高速数字信号的上升时间、带宽、建立/保持时间、并行总线/串行总线、单端与差分信号、时钟分配、编码方式、传输线的影响、预加重和均衡、抖动和扩频时钟等基本概念,并介绍数字信号的波形、眼图、模板、抖动、相位噪声、传输线影响的测试分析方法等。

本书上半部分的第4~8章重点介绍高速数字测试中最常用的实时示波器的基本概念、原理、指标含义、工作方式、测量精度以及探头的种类和选择依据,同时对另外一些常用的数字测量仪器如采样示波器、逻辑分析仪、误码分析仪、协议分析仪、阻抗分析仪、矢量网络分析仪的基本原理、应用领域以及相互之间的差异做了分析和比较。另外,对于一些常用的数字测量技巧以及多台仪表构建测量系统的基本方法也做了阐述。

通过上半部分的介绍希望可以帮助读者建立高速数字信号分析和测试的基本概念。

本书下半部分共14章主要针对具体应用,对计算机、智能移动终端、有线通信、航空航天领域常用的高速数字接口总线如PCIE、SATA、USB、Ethernet、MIPI、DDR、eMMC、UHS、HDMI/MHL、DisplayPort、LVDS、1553等总线的概念、应用领域、技术特点、测试方法等进行论述和整理。其中每一个测试方案的实现都是对本书上半部分介绍过的基本测试概念的应用和延伸,但是根据每个总线的不同特点又有区别和侧重。

另外,在本书中还列举了一些在具体测试中常见的问题,这些案例主要根据笔者和实际电子设计、测试人员交流中经常遇到的问题整理而成。希望通过理论和实际的结合,能够给从事高速数字电路开发和设计的工程师及高等院校从事高速数字电路教授和学习的广大师生提供帮助。

本书成书之时,原Agilent公司的电子测量仪器部门已经宣布将分拆成立一家新的公司,新名称为Keysight,因此本书中出现的原Agilent公司相关产品型号将会陆续更改为Keysight公司相关产品,特此说明。

本书在写作过程中,使用了一些原Agilent公司电子测量仪器部(现Keysight公司)的产品及方案资料,书中大量的实际测试波形由笔者借助于其开放实验室的设备完成,在此一并表示感谢。
