Author Description

伊安·杰弗里，1981年，泰晤士与哈德森公司出版了伊安·杰弗里的《摄影简史》（Photography:A Concise History），一部有关摄影媒介的经典之作。1997年，伊安·杰弗里又在为菲顿出版公司撰写的《摄影书籍》（The Photography Book）一书中详细考察了这一媒介。1998年，安姆浮图（Amphoto）发表了他的一系列专题研究，如《时间量度》（Timeframes）；1999年，伊安·杰弗里又为英国国家摄影、电影和电视博物馆（Britian's National Museum of Photography，Film Television）撰写了题为《修正》（Revisions）的非正统摄影史。2000年，伊安·杰弗里为马丁·肯普（Martin Kemp）编辑的《牛津西方艺术史》（The Oxford History of Western Art）撰写了摄影自起源以来的全面研究成果。20世纪七八十年代，伊安·杰弗里为阿兰·罗斯（Alan Ross）的《伦敦杂志》（London Magazine）撰写艺术评论。伊安·杰弗里主要在伦敦大学戈德史密斯学院（University of London Goldsmiths College）以及布拉格的中欧大学（Central European University）任教。
