有一位成功人士给我描述过老年景象：带着大笔积蓄退休，开两家店，一家是面馆，一家是酒馆，它们挨着, 傍晚才开门，直到深夜。搬一个小椅子坐在门口，笑眯眯地看人进去吃面，或者喝酒。看他们进进出出，听他们对着一碗面高谈阔论，或对着一杯酒黯然神伤。

后来他提前退休了，带着一大笔钱，并且真的开了这两家店。让人欣慰的是，这两家店又隐蔽又热闹，并且很赚钱。他坐在门口抽着烟斗表示——因为我不想赚钱啊，所以我赚到了钱。一开始的时候我就是想坐在门口看人啊。你知道，对抗人生的方式而已。

如何区分文艺还是不文艺？我们有讲，普通青年开店是为了赚钱，为了谋生，而文艺青年开店通常是为了一个虚无缥缈的梦，一种想要的生活，一种在红尘边打滚的感觉。在上一本《想开一个店：造梦者》的签售过程中，我看到了很多眼睛闪闪发亮的人，甚至包括我的投资人也和我说：“我的终极梦想也是开一个店啊。”大家都把赚钱这件事朝后排了，先想到的是满足自己，想象建立一种新的关系，或发生更多的关系。

跟一个有梦想的人讲赚钱的事经常不在一个频道上。我曾经遇见过三个姑娘合伙开咖啡馆的例子。她们每个人拿了几万块出来，跟我描述的是：我们太想要一间自己的图书馆咖啡屋了，你可以在这里看书、读诗，我给你都市如狗生涯中一个仰起头喘息的时刻。当我问她们怎么赚钱的时候，她们回答我：我们都有心理准备的，等这笔钱赔光了就关门呗，好歹也是圆了我们的梦。记得当时我无法评价，只能幽幽地说了一句：开店就是为了把这笔钱赔光，这个逻辑我实在不能懂。

所以我想，文艺青年、包括文艺中老年，如果真的想开一个店，那么发自内心地说一定是不想赚钱的。他们只是想和这个世界、想和更多的人发生关系。

梦的尽头，是醒来需要面对的无数琐碎。每个人都会变。你要有品位，有好的产品，有自己喜欢的环境，有靠谱的供应链，甚至有好用的员工和善良的房东。这都是需要一场场打交道得来的经验。然后你希望店里来的客人是欣赏你甚至懂你的，最好和你有共同语言，这是所谓的“一样的人”，然后你又会看到形形色色的故事在你身边上演，这真是坐看红尘滚滚、体验人生百态呢。所以，开一个店，就是义无反顾地将自己扔进了一个洪流中，从此你无法回避，扑面而来的，都是故事。

后来我和那三个想开咖啡馆的姑娘说：哪怕是一个梦，一个人生特定阶段的故事，我们也要把梦做得久一点，故事讲得长一点。“这才符合逻辑”。

天知道我是多么喜欢文艺青年，他们敏感、有才华、有情趣，相信审美甚过于相信道理，他们是凡俗生活中的微光。即使有很多人在抹黑文艺这个词，我也认为那是一种误读。只是我自己也理解那种特有的涣散，感性超越理性的种种。文艺和商业好像天生就是两个对立的词汇，可真的是这样吗？我并不苟同。

事实上，能让你感到美好的东西，都暗合了人性中不可缺少的部分；能进入到你视野里的美好店铺，背后都有坚强的商业逻辑和实干的精神在支撑着。我们终于不是看到一盘散沙，而是看到很有人不仅仅有梦想，也有勇气，还有智慧。在这一期的《想开一个店：有胆有脑》里，你会看到很多精英职业人转身变成美好生活方式的代言人。无论他们之前是演员、审计师、IT 精英，还是本身就是好厨师、设计师，都寻找到了自己坚实的商业逻辑，头脑清晰的为自己量身定制了一条与更多的人发生关系的新路径。
