《圣贤二曲/关学大儒系列·长篇历史小说》：
奇遇淳风岭
在秦岭北麓向北二十多里的地带有道与秦岭近乎平行的三十丈高的土梁，远看像一条巨龙盘桓在黄土地上，蜿蜒起伏，雄浑苍莽，直奔宝鸡的陈仓峪口。在周至县城南，这道东西走向的土岭，一直延伸到四屯镇马营堡西的马家河东畔。唐初天下大定，方由袁天罡、李淳风兄弟察龙脉，定建置，在这里筑城。袁、李晚年，在这土岭东北角圈定了自己的归宿阴宅。李淳风的坟墓就坐落在这里的黑惠渠北岸边。这土岭北坡陡峭耸立，杂树丛生，蓊蓊郁郁，阴森怕人。在这道龙脉福地环拱的周至县城的西邻有一个神奇的村子——菜园堡。明末清初在这里孕育了一个感动中国的经典故事。
炎夏的骄阳挥舞着白花花的烈焰，晒得淳风岭上翠绿的树木失去了往日的生机，蔫丫丫地耷拉着叶子，白光钻进树荫，羊肠小道的石块被烤得火烫火燎。李可从慌慌张张地拉着彭氏沿着崎岖不平的羊肠小道向上攀登，突然“啊——”的一声，彭氏脚一滑，不小心从山道上滚下。李可从奋不顾身，从高崖跳下，稳当地落到了崖坡上一棵倒斜的大槐树上，一把揪住彭氏的胳膊，往后一拉，彭氏也落到了大树上。李可从扶着彭氏一起跳到崖下的平地上。两人焦急地坐在大槐树下，心里像揣了只兔子，跳得令人发慌……
“哎，官人，你看——赖无德打伞，带着凤儿，从淳风岭上下来，不知在弄啥？”彭氏望着远方的小路，惊异地指着赖无德说，“莫不是把颐儿藏在这附近哪儿了！”
“有可能！”李可从站起来说，“你先在这儿，让我去看看！”李可从像只被猎人追赶的野狼，东跳西窜，在苍翠的灌木丛间来回闪动，不到一袋烟的工夫，就跑到赖无德所走的路上。
“赖无德，你给我停下，不然抓住你，老子的拳头绝不会轻饶你小子！”李可从边追边喊。
凤儿心里一紧张绊倒在地。赖无德也不顾凤儿，只顾逃命。李可从把凤儿拉到一片树荫下，让凤儿坐下，喘了口气，等她心情平静下来……
“你叫凤儿吧！”李可从已经从愤怒中缓解过来，平心静气和蔼地说，“你也是穷家的娃，咋能干坏事呢？”
“凤儿被卖到王员外家，做牛做马。”凤儿点点头，从惊恐中挣脱出来，说道，“壮士息怒！我也是迫于无奈呀！”
“你快快说出颐儿的下落，我就放过你，如其不然——”李可从怒目环睁，喷出愤怒的烈焰，欲将整个世界烧毁，声色俱厉地喝道，“我……我……让你死无葬身之地！”
“老爷，我招我招——”凤儿跪倒在地，泣不成声地祈求道，“颐儿就在岭上，我带你去！”
“好！走——”李可从让凤儿带路，气喘吁吁地向岭上迈进。
一袋烟工夫，他们便艰难地爬到了岭上，凤儿指着前边不远处的高台，说道：“壮士，孩子就在那高崖上！”
李可从听罢，一个鹞子翻身，张开胳膊，两脚“嗖”的一声，向空中腾去。两脚落到一道土梁上，但见一群喜雀在空中绕着一个巨大的黑白圆圈飞旋，中间两只雄鹰展翅低旋，翅膀正好遮挡起一小片阴凉地。一位衣着朴素的大娘静静地蜷缩着身子抱着二曲，正在那荫凉处乘凉，走近一看，二曲正在她的怀里安祥地睡着了……李可从被这场奇妙的境遇惊呆了。他不忍打破艳阳之下这种恬静而充满母爱的感人情景。他爬在树荫下等待着，等待着……
大约一炷香的工夫，彭氏和凤儿冒着热汗，满脸晒得通红，喘着粗气赶上来，感叹道：“哎，热死人了！”
李可从见她们上来了，招手示意她们不要发声闹出动静，到树荫下休息，指给她们看正在酣睡的李二曲。彭氏急了，张口言道：“快把娃抱过来呀！”
突然微风渐起，乌云慢慢袭来，遮住了阳光，天暗了许多，“轰隆隆”雷声炸响了。倾盆大雨扯天扯地地瓢泼着……
慈祥的大娘望着大雨，在树荫下，慢慢地站起，发现了李可从他们，轻轻地把李二曲抱过来，怜悯地说：“我从这儿路过，发现这娃躺在草丛里‘哇哇’地哭，就抱起来哄他睡着了。这娃是你们的吧？怪可怜的！”
凤儿急忙点头说道：“是！是！”
这时，两只受惊的雄鹰向天空缓缓地飞去。雨停了，乌云像黑色幕布慢慢散去，阳光透过云层折射出五彩缤纷的霞光……
李可从拖着湿漉漉的衣服，发疯般地蹦起来，扑到李二曲身边，抱起二曲，仔细地端详着，从头到脚察看孩子的全身，兴奋地仰天大喊：“苍天佑护，把颙儿归还给我，我会珍爱他，让他健康成长！”
“让我看看颐儿——”彭氏抱过孩子，仔细看着，悲喜交加地说，“颙儿，娘和你永不分离！”
大娘泪雨纷飞，着急地说：“湿气大，快回吧！”
