What should I do with my calling card after coming to the US?

When you come to the United States, the first thing you should do is to get a calling card. In modern society, you will be very panic if you lose contact.

In the United States, calling card packages are mostly divided into three categories.

1:prepaid plan:No deposit, no needssn(social security number ), the mobile phone needs to be purchased by yourself, and there are many charges for call minutes according to different traffic.

2:individual plan:May be requiredssn, a deposit is required, and the phone is cheap or even free. The package is similar to prepaid.

3.family plan:This is applied by many people together and requires ssn , I don't seem to have to, it seems that I can pay the deposit when I first came hereOK, at least2more than one person, the more people the better. This is a package, and then everyone will share, add a line for each additional person(+10$)every month. The payment is only paid by the main userOK, who is the one who started it.

I use itprepaid, and I think it's okay. US traffic is based on different packages, how many G4G traffic, then when these are consumed it will automatically become2G . Don't worry, US traffic is unlimited, as long as you don't give up on speed. But I think 2G is actually quite fast. (Maybe not in Seattle)

Compared withfamily plan, I think if you are acquaintances, you can do it together One, traffic and everything are used together. If you don’t know each other, it’s not good to ask friends for money. Also, if the call times out, the fee will be charged to the head of the household.

This is still selected according to personal needs, and in addition to this, you can also add services like calling and sending text messages in China, about 20 In a month, the number of text messages and call time are quite large. However, I personally don't think it is necessary, just make a direct WeChat callOK.

In addition, if you are worried that you will not understand anything when you first came to the United States, I recommend China Telecom's calling card

First Month1Knife, Freshman Promotion. You can receive the card in China, you can use it directly when you get off the plane, and it seems that you can have 2 numbers, one from China. The number is an American one. And the fees are cheaper.

I feel like it was a good transition when I first arrived. There are also quite a few shortcomings. The traffic is a little slow. If it is in a big city, it is fine. Don't use this in the village. And some people report that the service attitude is not very good. You can use the knife when you first come. If you are not satisfied, just throw it awayOK.
