Salted egg yolk is clumsy and I can't think of the most versatile ingredient to eat, salted egg yolk baked pumpkin, crab flour tofu, salted egg yolk rice wine shrimp and so on. . . It feels like there will always be two brothers, salted duck eggs and preserved eggs, in the closet.
