Author Description

顾城，朦胧诗主要代表人物，顾城被称为当代的唯灵浪漫主义诗人，早期的诗歌有孩子般的纯稚风格、梦幻情绪，用直觉和印象式的语句来咏唱童话般的少年生活。其《一代人》中的一句“黑夜给了我黑色的眼睛/我却用它寻找光明”成为中国新诗的经典名句。后期隐居激流岛，1993年10月8日在其新西兰寓所因婚变杀死妻子谢烨后自杀。留下大量诗、文、书法、绘画等作品。作品译成英、法、德、西班牙、瑞典等十多种文字。

Introduction

顾城（1956-1993），男，原籍上海，1956年九月生于北京，1969年随父下放山东东北农场，1974年回北京。做过搬运工、锯木工、借调编辑等。“文革”期间开始诗歌写作，1973年开始学画，并进入社会性作品写作阶段，1974年起于《北京文艺》、《山东文艺》、《少年文艺》等报刊零星发表作品。1977年起重新进入纯净写作，在《蒲公英》小报发表诗作后在诗歌界引起强烈反响和巨大争论，并成朦胧诗派的主要代表。1980年初所在单位解体，失去工作，从此过漂游生活。1985年加入中国作家协会。1987年应邀出访欧美进行文化交流、讲学活动。1988年赴新西兰，讲授中国古典文学，被聘为奥克兰大学亚语系研究员。后辞职隐居激流岛。1992年，获德国学术交流中心（DAAD）创作年金，1993年，又获德国伯尔创作基金，在德国写作。1993年10月8日于新西兰所居岛涉嫌重伤其妻谢烨（诗人雷米）后自杀，谢烨于其死后数小时不治。此后流言盛起，至今绵延不衰。1993年3月曾回国探亲，惨案发生时，值其夫妇从德返新西兰不久。留下大量诗、文、书法、绘画等作品。著作主要有《黑眼睛》（1986年人民文学出版社出版）、《英子》（1994年元月北京华艺出版社出版，与谢桦合著）、《灵台独语》（1994年3月敦煌文艺出版社出版，老木、阿杨编）、《顾城诗全集（上下卷）》、《顾城童话寓言诗选》、《城》等，部分作品被译为英、德、法等多国文字。另有文集《生命停止的地方，灵魂在前进》，组诗《城》、《鬼进城》、《从自我到自然》、《没有目的的我》。
