Content Description

本版《牡丹亭》是汤显祖400周年彩印纪念版，据明万历初刻本重新修订。
南宋南安太守16岁的女儿杜丽娘，在一个春日里，一次游玩花园，困倦之中，梦见个折柳书生。春梦醒来，书生不见。丽娘从此一病不起，临死之前，嘱咐家人把自画像藏在牡丹亭的太湖石下。此时金兵南下，太守将杜丽娘葬在梅花观，匆忙奉调镇守淮阳。
梦中书生是岭南柳梦梅。他家道败落，决定离开家乡，北上求取功名。路过南安，因缘际会间捡到了丽娘自画像。夜里，他见到了画上的女子——原来，得到阎王准许的杜丽娘离开了枉死城。她的魂魄来到梅花观，夜里和柳梦梅幽会。得知杜丽娘是鬼魂的柳梦梅并不害怕，他设法取得了灵药、掘开了坟墓，让丽娘起死回生。丽娘陪柳生去临安赴考。揭榜时，偏又遭变故，太守被围。乱世中，冲破了阴阳两界的杜丽娘，能否再和父母团圆，和柳梦梅终成眷属……
49岁离开官场的汤显祖自云：“一生四梦，得意处惟在《牡丹》。”

Author Description

汤显祖（1550-1616），明代戏曲家，后世称之为“东方莎士比亚”。
21岁中举，此后十年屡屡不中，33岁方才出仕。
经历了数次官场沉浮后，汤显祖49岁向朝廷告假回乡，居住在他自建的玉茗堂中，
创作了传奇《牡丹亭还魂记》《南柯记》和《邯郸记》，
与早年作品《紫钗记》合称为“临川四梦”。

絮了小姐一会，要与春香一场。春香无言知罪，以后劝止娘行，夫人还是不放，
