Author Description

王淑琰，女，重庆人，土家族，1938年2月出生，中共党员。1961年毕业于北京电影学院表演系，留校任教担任表演教学工作，现为表演系教授。曾任主任教员、学院党委委员、演员交流培训中心培训部主任、北京影视研修学院副院长等职，中国电影家协会会员。从事表演教学四十多年，培养的很多学生现为影视界主力。曾拍摄过多部电影、电视剧及话剧并担任导演、表演指导和演员。

第一章表演作为一门艺术
1.表演的实质
要认识表演这门艺术的实质有其复杂的艺术奥秘，不是轻而易举的，它涉及的方面多而复杂。为了便于理解、记忆，现将表演艺术的基本原则及内涵概括归纳为八个“三”。初步认识八个“三”对理解表演的实质大有裨益。
其一，“三位一体”。指创作中创作者、创作的工具、材料及创作的结果——形象都统一于演员自身。这一基本特性产生出演员创作中的“双重生活”、“双重人格”以及“演员与角色矛盾的统一”等。
其二，“三个统一”。指演员创作的艺术境界，优秀的表演必须达到三个统一，即演员与角色的统一；艺术与生活的统一；体验与体现的统一。优秀的演员要学会在角色中探索自我，在自我中体现角色，使二者融合。真正高超的表演艺术可以使演员与角色高度统一，达到“我就是”的艺术境界。日本著名演员田中绢代在《望乡》中塑造的阿崎婆就达到这种惟妙惟肖的境界。演员形象统一的程度将决定了表演艺术的高低。优秀的表演艺术必须符合生活的真实，反映生活的实质，同时又是生活的一种艺术升华，使“真实的”富于审美价值。正像法国著名演员老科格兰说的：“……我不信奉违反自然的艺术，但我也不愿在剧场中看到缺乏艺术的自然。”好演员在创作中既要接通“地线”（指生活真实的基础），又要接通“天线”（指通过艺术想象使表演具有审美价值，具有艺术魅力）。如前苏联戏剧大师斯坦尼斯拉夫斯基所提倡的具有“活生生的生活的真实和芬芳”及俄国戏剧家史迁普金指出的：“比大自然本身更好的美在世上是不存在的。应该善于去观察和看到美的事物。应该善于把美从生活中和大自然中转移到舞台上去。
