什么是早教——揭开早教的危害性

什么是早教呢？很多家长没有搞清楚这个问题，就盲目地把孩子送到早教机构，片面地认为早教就是教孩子认字、背诗、学算术，以为这样可以为孩子将来上小学打基础，殊不知这种认识多么可笑。其实，早教是指孩子在0～6岁这个阶段，根据孩子生理和心理发展的特点，进行有针对性的指导和培养，帮孩子打下良好的多元智能和健康人格的基础。也就是说，早教重在培养孩子的认知和人格，并非让孩子掌握多少“死知识”。

不知是哪个天才说了句“不能让孩子输在起跑线上”，从那以后，很多家长便纷纷行动起来，恨不得在孩子还没出生的时候，就对孩子进行教育。孩子出生以后，父母更是忙开了，又是教孩子认字背诗，又是给孩子报早教班，其实，这种做法直接摧残了孩子脆弱的内心和稚嫩的肩膀。

是的，对于年幼的孩子来说，能够做到这些，并非因为他们是“神童”，而是因为他们早早地受到了教育，这就是很多家长所说的早教，是他们让孩子赢在起跑线上的关键举措。可是家长没有考虑孩子的感受，没想过孩子会有多么累。

一天，刘女士给上幼儿园的女儿报了一个儿童英语学校的培训班，每个星期六上一次课，4个课时，教课的老师是从英国回来的留学生，口语不错。刚开始，女儿上课的兴致挺高，因为交了几个新朋友，而且老师上课的形式很新颖。为了调动小朋友的热情，老师将幽默故事穿插在课堂上，还和小朋友们玩小游戏。

看着那张被涂得乱糟糟的纸，刘女士开始怀疑自己给女儿报班是不是错了。就在这时，女儿说了一句话：“妈妈，我的负担太重了，我学不动了。”因为女儿不只是上英语班，还有上其他的兴趣班，还要认字、画画、背诗。从那以后，刘女士就再没让女儿上英语补习班。

现在很多父母对孩子的要求不只是高，还早。比如，让年幼的孩子上早教班，说是为了提前适应幼儿园的生活；让本该上幼儿园的孩子上小学，说是自己的孩子很聪明，应付得了小学的学习内容。父母为孩子争取时间，为的就是让孩子在将来的竞争中占据优势，然而这样做是在拔苗助长，对孩子的成长有很大的危害。

◎不要太高看了年幼的孩子

早教早教，就是让孩子早点儿受教育，这是很多父母对早教的误解。在父母的努力下，年幼的孩子早早地学会了很多知识，本该上幼儿园的孩子，被父母要求上小学。当小学老师不同意时，家长会不厌其烦地向老师或校长介绍自己的孩子有多么优秀，找各种关系来说情。有的父母甚至会动用关系改户口本，把孩子的出生日期往前推移。所有这些做法只是为了让孩子早入学。
