有时候，停下来思考一下影响可用性设计的诸多因素是件好事。但是往往时间不允许，你只能挽起袖子着手工作。本书正适用于这种情况。
一方面，自本书第1版于2011年出版以来，移动领域已经发生了巨大的变化。在第1版中，我写到了六个移动操作系统，而其中三个——WebOS、塞班（Symbian）和黑莓（Black Berry），在当下的移动领域里已经失去了竞争力。
另一方面，变化又没有那么大：本书第1版里写到的70多个设计模式，大多数仍在使用，只增加了屈指可数的几个新模式。然而，最新的设计模式更多地展现了“以移动为中心”的理念。设计师们终于不再埋首桌面端和网页端隐喻，而从根本上寻找移动界面的设计方案。我希望这种状况持续下去，并能加快前进的步伐。
