Remembering that the glutinous rice flour and bean paste that Yami bought before, I tried to make a simple snack: sweet potato and bean paste cake. I didn't expect the taste to be super good, the method is simple, easy to learn and easy to do, the following describes the method:
🌵1. Prepare sweet potatoes (purple and sweet potatoes are fine), glutinous rice flour, red bean paste
🌵2. Peel the sweet potatoes, cut them into pieces, steam them in the pot for 15 minutes, poke them with chopsticks after steaming, and you can poke them through
🌵3. Press the sweet potato into sweet potato puree with a small spoon (if you like sweetness, you can add some sugar, if you add too much sugar, the sweet potato will become too thin and sticky)
🌵4. Add glutinous rice flour until the dough is not too sticky, and it is better to knead the dough for a long time (if you like sweet potatoes, you can add less flour)
🌵5. Dip your hands with flour and shape the sweet potato dough into small balls. The bean paste is also kneaded into balls slightly smaller than the dough. The dough wraps the bean paste, then gently press the dough into a cake shape, and coat both sides with sesame seeds
🌵6. Heat the pot, add a little oil, turn to low heat, fry until golden brown on both sides, and the outer skin is a little crispy and ready to serve
If you make too much at one time, you can put it in the refrigerator. I strongly recommend the red bean paste. It tastes the best in it. It is delicate and not sweet. It is very good for daily desserts.
