# Happy order Happy life! #Super Good Japanese Chashu Pork Belly Recipe 💯👍👍 Before Convid-19, i often go to local Japanese Ramen restaurants to have chashu ramen 🍜but now ,I can cook them at home and don’t need to go out any more as i have learnt an authentic Japanese chashu pork belly recipe , which has been successfully tested in practice.The chashu pork belly looks a bit fat but not greasy, very fragrant, and it tastes damn good ‼️👍👍Try it now! Ingredients: About 1kg pork belly with/without skin some thin cotton ropes( to wrap the pork belly) 8-10 slices of ginger 3-5 cloves of garlic Scallion 8 segments 1 cup light soy sauce Mirin 1/3 cup (Japanese seasoning similar to rice wine, if not available, white wine or rice wine can be used instead) Sake 1/3 cup (if not available, white wine can be used instead) Sugar 1/3 cup Some purified water Steps: 🍀1. Wrap the pork belly and tie it tightly with cotton ropes; 🍀2. Put the pork in cold water with ginger slices in the pot, boil for 8-10 minutes, remove the blood , rinse it with cold water, and then dry the surface with kitchen paper; 🍀3. Add a small amount of oil to a cast-iron pot, add green onion, ginger, garlic and stir fry for a while; 🍀4. Put the pork belly with the side of pork skin down and fry it on a medium-low heat for about 2 minutes on each side, until the whole roll of pork belly turns golden brown; 🍀5. While frying the pork belly, prepare the sauce: put the light soy sauce, sugar, mirin, sake, and water (1 cup) into a bowl and mix well; 🍀6. Pour the sauce into the cast iron pot, and then add an appropriate amount of purified water until the half of the height of the pork belly. 🍀7. Simmer it on low heat for more than 1 hour, until the chopsticks can be easily inserted through the meat; 🍀8. The boiled pork belly and the soup should be packed in a fresh-keeping container, then put it in the refrigerator overnight and eat it the next day . 🍀9. When you take it out the next day, skim the lard on it, cut the meat into thick slices, and fry them on a medium-to-low fire for golden brown.
