Braised Pork Tongue

It's been a long time since I've eaten lo-mei

The last time I ate was probably more than a year ago when I was in China

I went to Yachao on the weekend to see frozen pork tongue

So I bought a box to try


 



First, wash the pork tongue and boil it in water10minutes


 



Take out the pig tongue and scrape off the white skin (tongue coating) with a knife


 



Prepare the seasonings needed for braised vegetables. Due to limited conditions, there is no special braised ingredients and no cloth bags, so you can mix them yourself.  

Cooking wine, soy sauce, salt, sugar, star anise, dried chili cut into two sections, peppercorns, bay leaves, five spice powder, and scallions






 



Boil on high heat, turn to medium heat and cook40minutes .


 





 



40minutes and then simmer on low heat20 span>minutes, stew until the pork tongue is rotten.

Drain the pork tongue and slice.



 





 




If you like chili oil, you can also drizzle the right amount of chili oil!

The finished product looks like this, isn't it very appetizing?

卤猪舌

好久没有吃卤味了

上一次吃大概还是一年多前在国内的时候

正好周末去亚超看到了冷冻猪舌

于是赶紧买了一盒试试


 



首先把猪舌清洗干净、放入水中煮10分钟


 



将猪舌捞出,用刀把白皮(舌苔)刮掉去除干净


 



准备好卤菜所需要的调料,因为条件有限,没有买专门的卤料,也没有布袋,所以就自己搭配啦。 

料酒、酱油、盐、白糖、八角、干辣椒切两段、花椒、香叶、五香粉,加入葱段






 



大火烧开,转中火煮40分钟。


 





 



40分钟后转小火炖20分钟,炖至猪舌烂了为至。

捞出猪舌、并切片。



 





 




喜欢辣油的还可以淋上适量的辣油!

成品长这样,是不是很有食欲呢嘻嘻!
