Stone cake is a traditional Shanxi food. When making, the cake should be spread on high-temperature pebbles, and then covered with a layer of stones. After baking, the surface of the cake will leave a stone-baked mark and a golden color.
I remember when I saw China on the tip of my tongue, I was deeply impressed by the stone cake. There is a close-up of the pie breaking apart, which looks extra crispy and delicious.
