Because I don't like sweets, I seldom eat mooncakes when I was in China. Since the first festival to come in the first year of going abroad is the Mid-Autumn Festival, mooncakes have become an indispensable part of every year. This year, seeing that Yami can be pre-ordered, I ordered two boxes of 85C Taiwanese mooncakes. The shelf life is very short, about a week after getting it. There are three flavors. Among them, the taro has a relatively simple sweetness and the lowest calories. It is probably the glutinous one that has a taste like mung bean cake, and the sweetness is acceptable. The red bean taste is the highest in calories, it is sweet and salty, the egg yolk is a little hard but the red bean paste is very delicate. There is also their most famous Dongpo flavor, which has the richest taste. There are QQ ones with meat floss and duck egg yolks. In order to leave some suspense for everyone, I won’t post photos haha. Overall, it's delicious. The meringue is soft like a wife's cake. If the egg yolk is soft and waxy, the shelf life will be longer, or it will be shipped later, at least after the Mid-Autumn Mooncake Festival.
