I don't know if you all checked in for restaurant week.
Yesterday, I tried the RW of the view, and came to a real-name evaluation.

(The restaurant is on the 48th floor of the Marriott Hotel. You have to go to the third floor from the escalator, and then take the direct elevator)
Our appointment time is 7:15. If you want to be seated by the window, you still have to wait a little. The waiting time is about 20-30 minutes. The atmosphere of the restaurant is more casual, there is no dress code.
We sat down just in time for sunset and it was completely dark when the main course was served. The flickering lights near Times Square and the beating neon lights on billboards illuminate the city that never sleeps.
Having said all this, I just wanted to tell you guys not to expect food! ! ! We ordered two different 3 courses + 1 side, and they were both utterly unpalatable. 🙄🙄
First course appetizer:
Grill baby Octopus

It was so old that I thought it was chewing on plastic at first glance. The cuttlefish juice at the bottom is a bit earthy/fishy, not recommended!
Heart of Palm and kala salad

When I thought that the salad could not be too unpalatable, the chef gave me a slap in the face with his true skills. Vegetables use something like mint leaves? ? ! The dressing is bland balsamic vinegar and my most hated goat cheese. The best thing on the whole plate is those pomegranate seeds (grievance face)
Second course meal:
Grill flatiron steak

It is really rare to see such an ugly steak. The side dishes are potatoes, purple potatoes and whole carrots? ?
The meaty smell of the steak is very strong. I asked for medium well, I feel that the surface is well done and the middle is medium rare, I don't know what the operation is. 😓
Seared Atlantic Cod

The best plate ever. The fish was tender, with plenty of lemon and garlic aromas in the mouth. Underneath is the brown rice porridge cooked in broth, which tastes and tastes great. Paired with grilled asparagus, there is no additional seasoning that just neutralizes the sweet and sour fish and the saltiness of the porridge.
Lobster max & cheese Lobster Spaghetti

so so. The spaghetti was not cooked enough and the lobster was too old and too fast. Every minute I eat is nostalgic for the super soft and tasty brushed lobster pasta at del frisco.

Lemon chocolate bar Lemon Chocolate Mousse Cake

In fact, when it comes to desserts, my friends and I have been desperate for their food. The combination of this mousse cake and ice cream is the representative of the standard old beauty's snoring. Damn sweet, not recommended! !
