The lotus root starch with a subtle rose fragrance is very attractive, I added some dried fruits (wolf berry) to further enhance the flavor.
When making this, I recommend boiling it in a saucepan instead of just adding hot water, otherwise I feel it won’t be as sticky.
The sugar level is pretty low, so it’s healthy and palatable, it’s a Chinese superfood.
