祛濕紅豆薏米湯
煮的時候不建議加米，因為薏仁紅豆湯的主要功效就是清熱除濕。紅豆是紅色的，養血，古籍裡記載它「久服令人瘦」，就是說經常吃紅豆還有減肥的作用。薏仁性偏寒涼，主要有清熱、利濕的作用。
夏天正好是暑氣連天的時候，內濕外也濕，用這兩味正好能達到一個養血、祛濕的作用。正是這種不黏不稠的清輕之相，才能達到清熱祛濕的效果。米本身就是濕氣重的食品，加了它，則薏仁紅豆湯的效果就事倍功半了。
