相对而言，对讲授技巧的培训项目进行学习发生程度的评估较为容易。以下项目就属于此类：工作指导培训、简化工作流程、面试技巧、引导技巧、阅读能力提升、演讲水平和写作水平提升。对于此类培训的评估，可以采用下列方法：课堂演示、个人对所学技能的展示、基于角色扮演所展示的情景的讨论等。培训主管可以使用这些技巧，客观地评估学习发生的程度。
例如，在为领班开展的工作指导培训中，每一位领班都需要在课堂上展示自己所学到的技能。通过他们在课堂上的表现，培训管理者可以判断他们是否掌握了工作指导的基本原则并且能够做到实际应用（至少是在培训课堂的情境中）；在简化工作流程的培训中，要求每一位参训学员填写“流程图”，这样培训管理者就可以确定学员是否已经知道如何去做；在提高阅读能力的培训中，通过学员在课堂上的表现，培训管理者可以轻松地判断他们的阅读速度和理解水平；在提高演讲水平的培训中，在正常情况下让学员做几次演讲，敏锐的培训管理者就可以通过观察学员连续的表现衡量出学习发生的程度。
