乔纳森·布朗（Jonathon D. Brown），美国华盛顿大学心理学教授，1986年取得美国加州大学洛杉矶分校博士学位。他撰写和发表了大量研究自我的文章，曾获美国国家科学基金杰出青年研究者总统奖。他当前的研究兴趣在于探索自尊对人们成功和失败所产生的影响。业余时间布朗喜欢打网球。

玛格丽特·布朗（Margaret A. Brown），美国西雅图太平洋大学社会心理学副教授，本、硕、博均就读于华盛顿大学心理学系，2002年开始在西雅图太平洋大学任教至今。主要研究领域为亲社会行为、自我心理学、群际关系和偏见。她是乔纳森·布朗教授的夫人。
