Author Description

季国平，男，1956年8月出生，汉族，江苏省泰兴市人。中共党员。扬州师范学院中文系毕业。1987年、1991年获文学硕士和博士学位。1973年参加工作。历任中国戏剧出版社总编室主任，副编审，中国文联国内联络部副主任，现任中国戏剧家协会分党组书记兼秘书长，研究员。中国戏曲学会副会长。1980年开始发表作品。2002年加入中国作家协会。著有专著《元杂剧发展史》、《宋明理学与戏曲》、《毛泽东与郭沫若》等8部。在《文学遗产》、《人民日报》（海外版）等报刊发表学术文章逾百篇。从事文艺管理和文艺研究、戏剧评论工作，参与策划和组织中国文联文艺家“万里采风”、首届中国职工艺术节、第八届中国戏剧节等重大活动。多次出任全国性文艺评奖评委：第三、四、五届中国文联文艺评论奖评委，第二十一、二十二届中国戏剧梅花奖评委会主任，第十六届曹禺剧本奖评委会副主任，第三届老舍文学奖评委，第七届中国艺术节评委等。

第一章五羊城下初相识”
广州别称“五羊”。相传古代有五仙人，乘五色羊执六穗而至此。一说战国时此地属楚，南海人高固任楚相，有五羊衔谷至其庭，因以为地名。
近代，人民革命风起云涌，广州已成为大革命的中心。昔日仙人漫游之城，今日革命者聚集之地。毛泽东和郭沫若在这里相会、相识了。
一个是来自“芙蓉之国”、韶山冲上屋场的政治雄才；
一个是来自“海棠香国”、乐山大佛脚下的文学骄子。
革命党人的外形似乎应是“魁梧奇伟”，但毛泽东却是“状貌如妇人好女”，“说话声音低而娓婉”——这是郭沫若叹为“奇迹”的最初印象；文学骄子本应是文弱书生，但郭沫若却笔如刀剑，在大革命失败的紧要关头，向着国共合作的叛变者蒋介石投以猛烈的“匕首”——这是毛泽东与郭沫若心灵相通的开始。
这两位以革命救国为己任的战斗者，在大革命的高潮中相识、相知，随后在各自的岗位上，用枪和笔并肩作战。他们的思想和心灵时时相通，他们的敌人始终也是共同的敌人，他们在为人民革命事业的奋斗中增长着信任和友情。
政治雄才与文学骄子
1893年l2月26日，在湖南韶山冲上屋场一栋当地人称作“一担柴”式的房子里，诞生了一代伟人毛泽东。这里缺少四通八达的商业交流，显得闭塞、落后，包围在一种山野村民的文化氛围之中。然而，这里却拥有极为优美的自然风光。
韶山，位于湘潭、宁乡、湘乡三县交界处，这里重峦叠嶂，起伏绵延。在群山中“拔起一峰，高出云霄，为诸山之祖”，就是闻名遐迩的韶峰。韶峰又名仙女峰，山高陡峭，“绝顶才宽三五尺，此身如在九重天”，气势十分雄伟。古人有诗赞日：“绕岫岚光凝欲滴，长风轻袅云烟侧。山涵五月六月寒，地拥千山万山碧。从来仙境称韶峰，笔削三山插天空。天下名山三百六，此是湘南第一龙。”
相传舜帝偕妃臣南巡荆州至此，被这里秀丽风光所吸引，乃令臣僚“奏韶乐九成”，引得“凤凰来朝”。“音召凤至”，韶山因此得名。清代韶山的一位布衣名士周定宁写了一篇著名的《韶山记》，上面说道：“韶山，楚南一名山也！
