Author Description

史蒂文·M.谢弗林，美国加利福尼亚大学戴维斯学院经济系教师，并担任加州税务局的主任。他于1998到2008年间在戴维斯学院担任社会科学部的主任，2009年退休，并曾到牛津大学、伦敦政治经济学院等名校做访问学者。谢弗林省理工学院的经济学博士学位。著有十余部著作和上百篇文章。

《理性预期/经济学名著译丛》：
信息结构
不变性定理本质上依赖于模型内部的信息结构。经济文献中的大部分早期模型，把个人获取当前信息局限于了解局部市场的价格。但是，即使在一个简单宏观模型中，似乎也应当获取某些对经济当事人有用的总体信息，特别是诸如整个经济的利率之类金融市场信息。麦卡勒姆（1980年）表明，把整个经济的利率纳入个人信息集合能够使不变性定理失效。就是说，货币供给反馈规则参数能够影响实际产量的概率分布。本期利率向经济当事人传递关于未知的干扰影响经济的信息。通常，这种信息会受到政府政策规定的影响。这不是一个完全一般的结果，尽管巴罗（1980年a）已经建立了一个包括整个经济中的利率的模型。不变性定理依然未受影响。但是，正像麦卡勒姆（1980年）强调的那样，不变性定理很容易受到模型内部的信息结构和严格规定的基本方程的影响。
