Author Description

萨拉·邦纳，是美国南加州大学会计学副教授，马歇尔商学院管理学和组织学教授。她拥

有美国维克森林大学的会计学和数学学士学位、乔治·华盛顿大学会计学硕士学位，以及密歇根大学商学博士学位。

Book Abstract

什么是会计判断与会计决策研究？要回答这个问题，必须首先定义判断与决策。判断（judgment）是指对事物、事件、状态或其他类型的现象形成一个观念、意见或估计。会计判断的表现形式一般为对事务或事件的未来状态（如破产）的预测，或者对事务或事件目前的但无法完全知晓的状态的评估（如财务报表的虚报程度）。换句话说，会计判断也像其他许多领域（Hastie and Dawes 2001）一样，一般是在不确定的情况下进行的判断。而且这些判断一般表现为确定的形式—— 要么是概率（如破产发生的概率），要么是数量（如重大虚报的金额）。
决策（decision）是指对眼下的问题做出决定并采取行动。决策一般发生在判断之后，即根据对各种替代方案的判断以及对风险、货币等因素的偏好，在各种替代方案之间做出选择。换句话说，判断反映信念，而决策反映信仰和偏好。例如，审计师根据他是否相信财务报表中存在虚报，从而判断财务报表的公允性。然后，他根据财务报表的公允性判断以及对保留客户和法律诉讼等因素的偏好，出具审计意见、制定决策。
判断与决策研究可以泛泛地定义为把判断或决策作为因变量或自变量的研究。
