Author Description

海因茨·科胡特（Heinz Kohut，1913—1981年），自体心理学创始人。在维也纳获得医学学位，并在芝加哥大学接受神经和精神医学的训练。他在芝加哥大学担任教授，讲授精神医学至1981年为止。他从芝加哥精神分析学院毕业并在那里担任教师与训练分析师。身为许多专业论文的作者，科胡特写过两本书，《自体的分析》与《自体的重建》。他曾是美国精神分析协会的会长（1964—1965年），国际精神分析协会的副会长（1965—1973年），西格蒙德·弗洛伊德档案馆的副馆长（1971—1981年），以及奥地利科学院的成员。他曾获得奥地利政府颁发的荣誉十字勋章，与辛辛那提大学颁发的荣誉博士学位。

Book Abstract

我曾多次说过，传统精神分析和精神分析取向的自体心理学之间的不同在于两者强调的重点不同——重点的转变虽然微妙但很重要。下面我通过探讨弗洛伊德的理论来阐明这种转变的重要性。他有关潜意识的重大发现给人们带来了巨大的自恋伤害。这种伤害暗示了弗洛伊德的著作受排斥的主要原因，它受到革新者本人人格的敏感程度以及提供重大发现的生长土壤的心理学时代精神的共同催化。我先前已经讨论过了这些因素对于作为新兴科学的精神分析［安娜·欧（Anna O.）和布鲁尔（Breuer）是其先驱］的影响（有关弗洛伊德人格的早期讨论见Kohut，1977：290-298；有关当代主流心理学弱点的讨论见 Kohut，1977：267-280。）由于这个问题的重要性亟待说明，我现在要重述并扩充我在先前的作品中提到的观点。
