心理学入门(修订版)
《心理学入门》第一版是在二十多年前，即1979年出版的。借出版本版之机，我要向一直喜欢和支持本书的朋友们表示感谢。在德语国家以及荷兰、波兰和西班牙对本书的积极反响激励我对这个第十二版作全新修订。其中扩充了对发展心理学知识的叙述，使之更加详细：对人从受孕到死亡的整个一生的变化都进行了叙述和解释。
在各章节文字安排方面，像以前的各个版本一样，我主要遵循以下原则：
1.科学联系，包括较复杂的联系，用大多数读者所熟悉的语言进行描述。常用的专业术语虽然也作介绍和解释，但是总的说来使用的时候慎之又慎。
2.任何科学研究工作都面临一个要必须解释清楚的问题。要让感兴趣的人了解某些知识，就不能略过最基础的问题，否则就会增加读者理解的难度，甚至无法理解。因此，在下面的文字安排方面始终注意告诉读者，本书介绍的研究成果解决了哪些难题，回答了哪些问题。
3.科学心理学之所以吸引人，就是因为其研究对象是人。在我们介绍这门科学的知识时，就要始终着眼于这种与人的直接关系。因此，一方面，在本书中将反复介绍作用于单个人、影响其思想、感觉和行为的条件和结果。相应的信息主要放在信息框里，读者在每一个章节中都能看到；另一方面，心理学不是在实验室中研究无名无姓的人的科学，更确切地说，心理学这个专业是力求描述和解释每一位读者在自己身上、在朋友或熟人身上都能够观察得到的过程。通过反复提出的“启动自我体验”，以提醒读者：他正在看到与自己息息相关的知识。
4.《心理学入门》这本书向读者介绍的是现实的理论，其中列举大量例子反复说明心理学与日常生活的关系以及如何运用心理学的问题。
