第三章是对图形的构成和表现方法的研究。首先对图形构成的基本要素进行了列举，然后对图形构成最主要的手段一具象和抽象进行了深入的研究，在最后对表现图形的方法进行了详细的介绍。
第四章内容是图形的视觉优化。现今时代已经进入了计算机时代，图形设计除了创意之外，通过计算机软件手段进行优化是必不可少的。第一节内容是通过软件进行图形形态的优化，第二节的内容是利用软件对图形的色彩进行相应的匹配调和，使其能够将创意更好地体现出来。
