《小儿外科手术难点及对策》一书共分五篇，包括神经外科、心胸外科、普通外科、泌尿外科、矫形外科。书中将每一疾病治疗的多种术式均分别一一叙述其手术适应证、手术操作步骤、困难点的克服方法以及并发症的原因和治疗等，最后对该术式可能涉及的问题加以综合评价。为了加深读者的了解，文中介绍了许多典型病例的诊治过程，以帮助读者借鉴他人之经验，少犯错误，少走或不走弯路，有效地提高医疗质量，减少并发症的发生，改善医患矛盾，创造和谐社会。

Author Description

王果，教授、国内著名小儿外科专家。于武汉同济医科大学同济医院从事小儿外科工作51年。现任或曾任中华医学会小儿外科学会常务委员，湖北省小儿外科学会主任委员，《中华外科杂志》、《中华小儿外科杂志》等十余家杂志常务编委或编委。自1 972年以来专门研究小儿便秘及先天性巨结肠症的病因、病理、免疫、遗传、组织化学、诊断治疗方法以及分子生物学的基因突变等，为我国在此领域中研究时间最长，研究面最广最深入者之一。并为此撰著十余万字，达到国内领先水平。创用“中西医治疗先天性巨结肠症”，为治疗巨结肠方面开辟了一条非手术方法治疗的新途径，此方法刊登于国际核心杂志美国《小儿外科杂志》，受到国外小儿外科同道的好评，并应邀到美国进行交流及研究。为了防止国际上常用的四种巨结肠根治术的并发症，经过30年临床实践和研究，设计出“心形斜吻合术”治疗先天性巨结肠症，此术式不但避免了国外各种术式常见的早期并发症，而且有效地解决了晚期的污粪、失禁和减少了症状的复发，其疗效达到国际先进水平，“心形斜吻合术”远期随访一文于23届国际儿科会议宣读。国内数十家省、市级教学医院采用此方法已逾干例，并总结论文近30篇，均取得了良好效果。近年来国内新开展的腹腔镜及经肛门巨结肠手术，其结肠直肠吻合多数也采用“心形斜吻合”术式，此手术方法刊登于欧洲《国际小儿外科杂志》，受到国外专家及台湾同道的一致好评。1984年赴加拿大访问学习，1987—1989年在美国俄亥俄州立大学学习、研究巨结肠及小肠移植。曾先后九次在美国、国内大陆及台湾参加国际会议并进行学术交流。自1987年以来在国外及国内研究小肠移植获得突出成果，曾四次获得并主持完成国家自然科学基金课题，五次获得卫生部、国家教委、省、市等颁发的一、二等奖，享受国务院颁发的特殊津贴。在国内外重点刊物发表论文100余篇。主编《小儿外科手术图谱》、《小儿腹部手术并发症的预防和处理》、《小儿肛肠外科学》、《小儿外科手术学》等；参编《黄家驷外科学》、《腹部外科手术学》、《胃肠外科学》、《现代外科学》、《现代移植学》、《移植免疫学》等10余部专著。
