《电子商务实验教程》通过指导学生在两个模拟环境中进行实验来学习电子商务的相关知识。一个模拟环境是ECGAME，它模仿一个人工社会，有三个国家，每个国家有三个城市。学生开始扮演普通消费者（有少量的资产），在网上商店买消费品，在网上学习，考试，应聘工作获得薪酬，增加自己的才干。系统中用每人的智力值、魅力值、体力值、经验值来度量其才干。当消费者有了足够的才干和资产，可以自主选择成为三类企业主：（1）可以开工厂研发产品、生产产品、出售产品，这需要学习。ERP、SCM和CRM等知识；（2）可以开网上商店，这要学习备货、确定销售价格、营销等知识；（3）可以做运输商，这需要学习确定航线、运输价格、营销等知识。企业主们需要招聘消费者们为各级雇员，并向他们支付工资，这就需要考虑经营成本和效益等问题。这样ECGAME也模仿了电子商务环境中的竞争和博弈。学生在类似电子游戏的环境中学习并积累了相关知识。
另一个模拟环境是SIMEC，它模仿家具进出口的国际贸易，在一轮实验中学生可以扮演原木板生产商、强度木板生产商和家具生产商这三种角色之一，可以做FOB或CIF、两类国际贸易，涉及合同、信用证、商业发票、托运单、运输投保单、商检单、报关单和运输单等十多种单证，单证各项的设计基本符合ISO的EDIFACT国际标准。学生通过三种角色的不同体验，了解基本的国际贸易流程，在决策中学习如何竞争和博弈。

第一部分B2C电子商务实验
电子商务在企业与消费者之间的应用，称为BusinesstoCustomer模式，简称B2C。它以Internet为手段，实现公众消费，为公众提供服务，并保证与其相关的付款方式的电子化。它是随着WWW的出现而迅速发展的，可以将其看做是一种电子化的零售。本部分将结合电子商务模拟系统ECGAME，介绍B2C电子商务的商业环境、主要参与角色、各角色的关系、各自主要的活动，旨在通过对各环节系统化、关联性的实际操作，在总体上建立电子商务的知识体系。
ECGAME由中国人民大学经济科学实验室自主研发，是一个将现实的电子商务中的活动、角色、流程，进行趣味化、游戏化模拟的系统。用户通过生动的系统实践学习，可以掌握电子商务管理理念，熟悉电子商务实务。ECGAME的总体流程如图l所示，消费者、制造商、销售商以及运输商是主要的角色，代表了电子商务环境的主要参与者。商场、人才交流中心、教育中心、股票中心等是主要的地点，模拟了各角色之间的主要联系。例如，消费者和制造商在人才交流中心分别应聘和招聘；同时在股票中心分别实现投资和融资。
