BNRThin

BNRThin is the brand owned by AceBiome, a probiotic company specializing in weight management based in South Korea. The company spun out of Bioneer Corporation in 2017 with the mission to improve the lives of overweight and the quality of life for people through probiotic products. The company has been growing rapidly with its BNRThin brand in the dietary supplement industry.

The flagship probiotic strain of the company is Lactobacillus gasseri BNR17(“BNR17”), which is the first probiotic strain approved by the MFDS (Korea FDA) as a functional ingredient to help reduce body fat, in addition to intestinal health. The proprietary strain and its product BNRThin have won premier awards, including NutraIngredients-USA Awards 2018 as the Ingredient of the Year in weight management and NutraIngredients-Asia Awards 2020 as the Product of the Year in probiotics, respectively. Bioneer and AceBiome have researched the BNR17 strain for about two decades and have proven to help reduce body fat and relieve irritable bowel syndrome through clinical studies.

AceBiome has recently expanded its horizon in the product portfolio beyond probiotics. It added a joint health supplement and a balm product under the "AnaParactin" brand, incorporating Andrographolide named “ParActin”, a plant extract of Andrographis paniculata.

On the research side, the AceBiome R&D Team has been building its sizable probiotic strain bank with extensive research, and several next-generation probiotic strains are in the pipeline.
