《新标准韩国语1：初级》是专门为初学韩语的外国学生编写的，目的是让学生能够轻松地学习韩语，在短时间内熟悉韩国人的生活和韩国文化。本教材以学习者为中心，以提高学习者的语言沟通能力、交际能力为主要目标，注重培养学生听说读写等各个方面的综合能力。教材中设置了主要人物，通过大量的视觉材料来帮助学习者理解内容、增强记忆。教材的内容大都是外国人在韩国生活以及与韩国人交流时所要面对的一些基本内容，涵盖面广，实用性强。教材中使用的是标准韩国语——首尔话，语言自然、生动、地道。

Content Description

这套韩语教材分为初级、中级、高级三个级别，每个级别分为1、2两册，内容由简到难，循序渐进，有助于稳步提高学习者的韩国语水平。初级和中级教材的听力材料、词汇以及语法说明以附录的形式放在教材的后面，并有相应的中文译文，便于初、中级学习者学习和使用。本套教材出版之后，将陆续出版与之配套的中文版练习册，它将使本教材学习起来更容易、更有效。由此，中国学生将能接触到一套综合的韩语系列教材。
无论在教材内容上，还是在编排风格上，一直贯穿韩国文化是本教材的特点之一。使学习者在学习语言的同时，了解韩国的生活习惯和风土人情。

本书分为两册，每册10课。每课由两个章节组成，每个章节又包括课文、语法、看图练习对话、句型练习、活用练习和翻译6个部分。此外，为了使广大的学习者能更加深入地了解韩国文化、增加学习韩国语的兴趣，每课的最后还设有韩国的文化简介部分，并配有译文。
本书的主要特点如下：
第一、本书从第一课到第六课全面介绍了韩国语的几种会话终结词尾，其他的教材，初级阶段往往只介绍尊敬阶终结词尾，非敬语。其他的教材，初级阶段往往只介绍尊敬阶终结词尾，然而在日常生活中，尊敬阶终结词尾的使用频率较低，往往会使学习者产生因惑。本书采用这种将三种会话终结词尾同时介绍的教学方法可以大大减少学习者在初级阶段容易出现的学习和实践上的混乱。
第二、语法部分尽量减少中文注释的手笔。通过大量的韩国语例句，让学生自主地领会语法的意思和使用方法。并且通过看图练习对话、句型练习、活用练习等，让学习者将所学到的语法知识转换为实际语言应用能力。
第三、看图读对话部分是趣味性和知识性的一个有机结合。精美的插图寓教于乐，使学习者学中有乐、乐中有学。
第四、为了使学习者能够学以致用，本书的句型练习完全是结合实际生活中的情景会话设定的。学习者在做练习的同时可充分领会会话内容和各种场景下的不同表达，从而为在实践中更好地运用打下良好的基础。
第五、活用练习部分，练习题形式多样，为丰富课堂教学提供了很好的素材。
第六、每一课最后的翻译练习是语法翻译教学法的一个再现，可以帮助学习者摆脱过去千篇一律死记硬背的学习方法，做到活学活用。
此外，本书的最后还附有语法索引和词汇索引，便于学习者随时查询使用。
