《大学法语课程教学要求》（以下简称《要求》）于2011年11月出版发行，这标志着我国大学法语教学进入了一个新的历史时期。《要求》在教育部高等学校大学外语教学指导委员会法语组于2009年开展的全国大学法语教学情况调研的基础上制定，对《大学法语教学大纲（第二版）》中的“大学法语课程教学要求”进行了较大幅度的修订，引入了新的教学理念。《要求》调整了教学对象和层次，强调培养语言综合运用能力，突出“素质教育”理念，强调培养跨文化交际能力，主张分类指导，突出个性化培养。要达到这些目标，大学法语教学就必须在教学思想、教学方法和教学材料使用等各个方面进行改革。为此，受教育部高等学校大学外语教学指导委员会法语组委托，我们编写了这套“新理念大学法语系列”，旨在贯彻《要求》精神，推广新的教学理念，为深化我国大学法语教学改革、不断提高教学质量而努力。
“新理念大学法语系列”合《新理念大学法语》学生用书和教师用书各4册、《新理念大学法语听力教程》1册、《新理念大学法语·大学法语四级考试听力应试指南》1册、《新理念大学法语语法教程》1册和《新理念大学法语-大学法语四级考试词汇精解》1册。
本书是《新理念大学法语2》（教师用书），旨在帮助教师理解教材编写理念，更有效地组织教学活动。本书的主要特点有：
一、强调教学指导，帮助教师组织教学
“新理念大学法语系列”既突出“以学生为中心”的教学理念，也强调教师的指导作用。本书在编写时明确了每单元各板块的教学任务和目的，提供了参考学时分配，便于教师有计划地组织教学。在一些板块的练习后面还附有简明清晰的指导性文字，以帮助教师利用这些练习进行课堂教学活动。
二、紧扣学生用书，体现板块编写特色
《新理念大学法语2》（学生用书）共分为8个单元，编者根据法国文化和日常生活的主题分单元编写，每单元重点介绍一个主题；各单元又按照不同功能具体划分为七大板块。教师用书基于学生用书的单元和板块结构有针对性地编写，进一步体现了教材的板块特色：系统性强、选择灵活、教学目的清晰，便于教师把握教学的各个环节。
三、参考资料详实，丰富课堂教学手段
本书不仅提供各语言实践环节的练习答案和对话、课文、文化知识等部分的参考译文，还提供了自我测评（Apprentissage Individuel）板块的答案及相关录音文字材料。有效帮助教师组织课堂教学。
