Book Abstract

【附录：陆游《钗头凤》为谁而作？】南宋著名爱国大诗人陆游曾写过一首小词《钗头凤》：“红酥手，黄滕酒，满城春色官墙柳……”相传这首词是为感念前妻唐琬而作。这段风流韵事曾被演为戏曲，搬上舞台；今人又改编为电影，播之银屏。千百年来，事以词名，词以事传，成为一段几乎家喻户晓的文坛佳话。但是，这个故事南宋人的记载说法就有分歧，后人又多有质疑，可谓众说纷纭，至今仍争辩得难解难分。有如下三说：
一、为唐氏而作
陆游，字务观。山阴（今浙江绍兴）人。他“年十二能诗文”，“荫补承仕郎”，（《宋史·陆游传》）年十八从曾几（茶山）学诗，早具文名。年十九，到临安考进士，未被录取。大约在二十一岁左右，与表妹唐氏结婚，不久被迫劳燕分飞。这个故事最早见于宋人陈鹄的《耆旧续闻》、刘克庄的《后村诗话续集》、周密的《齐东野语》。据这些记载，陆游和唐氏婚后十分“伉俪相得”，但因“不当母夫人意”，陆游被迫休弃了她，后另娶王氏为妻，唐氏也改嫁同郡赵士程，彼此音信隔绝。时光荏苒，岁月如流。八九年后，也就是宋高宗绍兴二十五年（1155），陆游因遭秦桧黜落，回家乡闲居，春日出游，与唐、赵“相遇于禹迹寺南之沈氏园。”唐氏告诉赵士程，遣仆送去黄封酒和果肴，以“通殷勤”。陆游面对此情此景不胜伤感，挥笔在园壁上写下了这首《钗头凤》词。后来唐氏见到了这首词，牵动自己的愁绪，也和了一首词：“世情薄，人情恶，雨送黄昏花易落。……人成各，今非昨，病魂长似秋千索……”终于郁郁成疾，不久就“怏怏而卒”了。陈鹄“弱冠客会稽，游许氏园（沈园后属许氏）”时，见壁间犹存放翁题词，“笔势飘逸”，至“淳熙间，其壁犹存，好事者以竹木护之。”（《见西塘集·耆旧续闻》）陈鹄生活的年代距陆游最近，他在记载这段凄婉动人的爱情悲剧时，自云曾在沈园目击园壁上的《钗头风》词。刘克庄稍晚于陈鹄，但他是从陆游老师曾茶山之孙曾默那里听到这个故事的。周密距陆游也只六七十年，他转录了陆游六首沈园诗与《钗头凤》词相参证，这说明陆游的《钗头凤》为感念前妻而作，是有事实根据的。
二、小说家言
《钗头凤》故事的始末，宋人笔记以《齐东野语》记载最为详尽。但周密说唐氏为唐闳之女，尚不知她的芳名。至清代，《御选历代诗余》始全录唐氏的《钗头凤》词。近人丁传靖《宋人轶事汇编>才说：“放翁出妻姓唐名婉。”自此以后诸家互相引证补辑，遂日趋圆满。陆游在沈园题壁，有诗序为证，这是毋庸置疑的事实。但题壁的时间、题赠对象等却多有争议，他们认为陆唐悲剧并不可信。清人许昂霄说：“世传放翁出其夫人唐氏，以《钗头凤》词为证，见《癸辛杂识》、（应为《齐东野语》），疑亦小说家附会，不足深信。”（见王士禛《带经堂诗话》卷十八“校勘类”）他怀疑这个故事是小说家编造的。吴骞的《拜经楼诗话》（卷三），吴照衡的《莲子居词话》也相继指出放翁前室唐氏改适赵某事，“殆好事者因其诗词而附会之”，他们并指出可疑的原因，一是宋人记载“所叙岁月，先后参错”，一是“玩诗词中语意，陆或别有所属，未必曾为伉俪。”
