《妇科护理手册（第2版）》：
（治疗）
治疗原则：尽早、彻底治疗；遵循及时、足量、规范用药原则。
1.一般治疗 急性期应注意休息，可采取半卧位，保持外阴清洁，禁止性生活。
2.药物治疗 首选第三代头孢菌素，如头孢曲松钠125mg单次肌内注射；或头孢克肟400mg单次口服；如不能耐受头孢菌素类药物者，可选用阿奇霉素2g单次肌内注射。合并衣原体感染的孕妇应同时使用阿奇霉素1g顿服或阿莫西林进行治疗。播散性淋病，头孢曲松1g肌内注射或静脉注射，每日1次，待症状改善24～48小时后，改为头孢克肟400mg口服，每日2次，连用7日。
3.淋病合并妊娠治疗 宜选用青霉素或红霉素。
4.慢性淋病 单纯药物治疗效果差，需要采用综合治疗方案，包括支持疗法、对症处理、物理疗法、封闭疗法及手术治疗等。
5.性伴侣治疗 淋病主要经性行为传播，性伴侣应同时治疗，治疗期间禁止性交。
6.淋菌产妇分娩的新生儿治疗 分娩后尽快使用0.5%红霉素眼膏预防新生儿淋菌性眼炎，并预防用头孢曲松25～50mg／kg（最大剂量不超过125mg）单次肌内注射或静脉注射。
