Book Abstract

②生物计算机（分子计算机）。
生物计算机在20世纪80年代中期开始研制，其最大的特点是采用了生物芯片，它由生物工程技术产生的蛋白质分子构成。在这种芯片中，信息以波的形式传播，运算速度比当今最新一代计算机快10万倍，能量消耗仅相当于普通计算机的十分之一，并且拥有巨大的存储能力。由于蛋白质分子能够自我组合，再生新的微型电路，使得生物计算机具有生物体的一些特点，如能发挥生物体本身的调节机能从而自动修复芯片发生的故障，还能模仿人脑的思考机制。
美国首次公诸于世的生物计算机被用来模拟电子计算机的逻辑运算，解决虚构的七个城市间最佳路径问题。
目前，在生物计算机研究领域已经有了新的进展，预计在不久的将来，就能制造出分子元件，即通过在分子水平上的物理化学作用对信息进行检测、处理、传输和存储。另外，在超微技术领域也取得了某些突破，制造出了微型机器人.
长远目标是让这种微型机器人成为一部微小的生物计算机，它们不仅小巧玲珑，而且可以像微生物那样自我复制和繁殖，可以钻进人体里杀死病毒，修复血管、心脏、肾脏等内部器官的损伤，或者使引起癌变的DNA突变发生逆转，从而使人延年益寿。
量子计算机。
所谓量子计算机，是指利用处于多现实态下的原子进行运算的计算机，这种多现实态是量子力学的标志。在某种条件下，原子世界存在着多现实态，即原子和亚原子粒子可以同时存在于此处和彼处，可以同时表现出高速和低速，可以同时向上和向下运动。如果用这些不同的原子状态分别代表不同的数字或数据，就可以利用一组具有不同潜在状态组合的原子，在同一时间对某一问题的所有答案进行探寻，再利用一些巧妙的手段就可以使代表正确答案的纲合脱颖而山。

在《计算机基础教程（第2版）》的使用过程中，我们综合分析了广大师生的意见和建议，于2008年12月至2009年6月对《计算机基础教程》再次进行了修订，内容组织仍然严格按计算机教指委“白皮书”的要求和宗旨组织编写。第3版教材保留了原有的组织结构和风格，分为“理论篇”和“实践篇”.“理论篇”部分，每章都有内容简介和学习要求，学生可以明确学习目的。在这一部分，我们主要对计算机硬件、软件、多媒体、网络等部分的概念、名词进行了更新，以适应计算机技术不断发展的需要。“实践篇”部分，每章基于案例组织内容，以“动手做一‘想一想”“知识链接”为介绍形式。对于这一部分，我们在原有内容的基础上适当加深了一些常用软件的操作难度，提高了实践作业的要求。如Word一章增加了制作目录和公式编辑器的内容，Access部分增加了不同数据类型的使用，FrontPage一章增加了博客的介绍等。同时，老师们根据自己的教学经验，对学生平时易犯的错误进行了归纳和总结，目的是让实践篇更加具有实用性，学生可以完全通过自学实践篇来掌握这些实用软件。
从教学的角度来看，不要求每一章都讲，也不要求严格按照教材顺序组织教学，提倡两篇教学内容同时进行。各学校可根据学生的实际情况自由组合内容、灵活安排章节顺序。理论篇部分要做到“精讲”，实践篇部分要做到“多练”，特别是实践篇的教学应以学生为中心，教师只作入门性的、重点的、带启发性的讲授（或不讲授），充分调动学生学习的主动性，形成“教师指导下的以学生为中心”的教学模式，并且将课堂教学、实验教学、网络教学一体化，全方位培养学生利用计算机分析问题、解决问题的意识与创新能力，提高学生的计算机素质，为将来应用计算机知识与技能解决自己的专业问题奠定基础。
