《眼科疾病216个怎么办（第2版）》：
晶状体是富有弹性的双凸透明体，主要由晶状体囊和晶状体纤维组成；晶状体无血管，终生不断生长，弹性逐步减弱，从而出现老视及白内障。
玻璃体为透明的胶质体和水，充满于玻璃体腔内，占眼球内容物的4／5，约4.5毫升。前为晶状体，其他部分与睫状体视网膜相贴；玻璃体无血管，参与眼内屈光，内起支撑视网膜，具有维持眼球形状的作用。
3.眼附属器有哪些作用？
眼附属器包括眼睑、结膜、泪器、眼外肌和眼眶。
眼睑俗称“眼皮”，分上睑和下睑，其上下睑间的裂隙为睑裂；眼睑内外侧相接处为内眦和外眦；内眦部有肉状隆起为泪阜；睑缘处有睫毛生长，同时有皮脂腺及变态汗腺开口于毛囊；上下睑内侧各有一小孔称泪点；上睑皮肤表面有一皱襞为双重睑；眼睑内有睑板、眼轮匝肌和提上睑肌。眼睑主要作用开启睑裂、瞬目，防止异物进入眼内；保护结膜和角膜组织。
结膜是一层薄而透明的黏膜，覆盖在眼睑后面和眼球前面，可分为球结膜、睑结膜和穹隆部结膜三部分，结膜内有杯状细胞和副泪腺可分泌黏液和泪液。结膜的分泌功能参与泪膜形成，可湿润角膜，有清洁杀菌作用。
泪器包括泪腺和泪道。泪腺位于眶外上方的泪腺窝内；分泌泪液，泪液为弱碱性透明液体；泪道由泪小点、泪小管、泪囊及鼻泪管组成；泪液分泌后通过角膜表面经泪小点、泪小管、泪囊、鼻泪管排人鼻腔内。它们的作用是分泌泪液并使其排出，从而达到湿润保护角膜的目的。
