《梦窗词稿》甲乙丙丁四卷本附补遣一卷，录梦窗词三百二十九首。毛刻四卷本因行世较早，在很长时间内都是梦窗词集的唯一祖本。四卷本重要校本有陆贻典、毛戾等校毛晋汲古阁刻本，戈载批校梦窗稿钞本，曼陀罗华阁丛书杜文澜本，四印斋王鹏运、朱祖谋合校本，无着庵朱祖谋二校本，郑文焯校批梦窗词诸本，张寿锈校刊《四明丛书》本。朱二校本行世后，朱氏获得涵芬楼藏明万历二十六年（一五九八）太原张廷璋钞本《梦窗词集》，此为一卷本，录梦窗词二百五十六首。朱祖谋《强村丛书》融合一卷本与四卷本，而成三校本。而《强村遗书》所刊朱祖谋四校本则又只收张廷璋钞本《梦窗诃集》的二百五十六首，故未称足本。从以上溯源可以看出，朱强村一生四校梦窗词，其中三校本是融合明代张廷璋钞本、毛晋刻本，并且是汇聚所有校勘成果加以改定的足本。可以说，当时最早最精的版本及校本，除毛康等校本、戈载批校本外，已尽入朱氏彀中，故能渊源有自，传真求是，最称善本。兹书选为底本。

Introduction

一、梦窗生平事迹述略
昊文英，字君特，号梦窗，晚号觉翁，宋季著名词人。考证梦窗行谊并为其词作编年，自刘毓崧始，朱祖谋《梦窗词集小笺》、夏承焘《昊梦窗系年》、杨铁夫《昊梦窗事迹考》（简称朱笺、《系年》、《事迹考》）功莫大焉。之后，昊熊和、钟振振、张如安、田玉琪、昊蓓等人继有创获。今在前贤时彦考证基础上，结合梦窗诃作并特别注重对其交游群体的循环考索，梦窗生卒年及生平事迹的轮廓已经大略可以勾勒。梦窗是庆元府鄞县（今浙江宁波。古称明州，又取境内四明山为名。见《太平寰宇记》卷九八）人。一生虽曾至临安府（新城、仁和），湖州府（德清、乌程），扬州府（楚州，南宋中后期称淮安），平江府（昊县、昆山、长洲、常熟），常州府（无锡、宜兴），绍兴府（萧山），镇江府（京口）等地，但客居地仅在今杭州、苏州、绍兴三地，而以客居苏州的时间最长，并最终以此地为老去菟裘之邦。
（一）杭京及苏州游幕时期
关于昊梦窗的生年，权威的说法主要有三种：夏承焘《系年》提出的宁宗庆元六年（二一○○），杨铁夫《事迹考》提出的宁宗开禧前后，张凤子致夏承焘第一书和第二书所定的宁宗嘉定十年（一二一七）和嘉定五年（一二一二）。笔者基本确定梦窗生于宁宗嘉泰二年。
由于梦窗词中多有十载西湖、十年昊苑的描述和回忆，研究者都认同其行谊中有客杭、客苏的经历。而对于客杭客苏孰为前后的问题，夏、杨二家倾向于客苏在前；但当代研究者的考证，推翻了前贤客苏在客杭之前的结论，如钱锡生《关于昊文英生平中的两个问题》、朱德慈《昊梦窗早年客杭考》皆指出，梦窗客杭时间实在人苏州仓幕之前，时间约为十年。张如安《昊梦窗生平考证二题》同意此观点，并通过梦窗集中《西平乐慢·过西湖先贤堂》一词，进一步考证出梦窗这十年是在临安府尹袁韶门下马客。结合张如安诸人的考证，笔者认为约在嘉定十三年或稍后，梦窗入袁韶幕中，开始了近十年的杭京游冶及游幕生涯二一。
幕主袁韶，亦鄞县人。累官至参知政事、兼同知枢密院事。袁氏为显宦，梦窗因同乡之谊人其幕中，其中有传统观念中非常看重的地绿前提。《西平乐慢·过西湖先贤堂》属于梦窗手写「新词稿」十六首之一，据郑文焯、夏承焘考定，「新词稿」皆写于淳佑三年（二一四三〉三一，当时梦窗已在苏州仓幕（全称「常平广惠仓兼管勾农田水利差役事」）一三。袁韶嘉熙元年（二三一七）逝世，梦窗在其谢世六年后，暂至杭京时以《西平乐慢·过西湖先贤堂》和《三姝媚·过都城旧居有感》凭吊恩主故居和所创先贤堂。
