正在营业
天气预报东海南部有台风向西北方向移动。门外廊檐下那只风铃丁丁东东。有风的日子它发出的悦耳的声音，特别是在散淡的午后，它的声音是回忆的催化剂，让人回想到很远以前的生活情境，如童年、少年。其实这种回想和早已过去的时光是不搭界的，仅仅是心情而已。它在廊檐下挂了十年，原本铮亮的金属，经过十年风吹、雨打、日晒、氧化成了无光的黑色，可悦耳的音乐依旧，即兴明亮的C大调组合。
初秋午后的阳光照耀在厚厚的毛玻璃上，酱色的楼梯扶手上有一溜白亮的天光。遮光窗帘挡住另一半窗户，楼梯的拐角处半明半暗。
“正在营业”的牌子挂在玻璃门上，红底白字的牌子在门把手上左右晃荡了几下，定住。这里的生活从午后三点钟开始，十年来总是如此。
透过灰色玻璃朝外面看，外面的街道有车辆来往，不嘈杂。有行人来往，不匆忙。两个月前城建把这里和周围的地皮都批给了开发商。城市随时都在发生即兴变化，这些变化决不以普通市民的意志为转移。通知你拆迁，你才知道拆迁，在规定时间内你非搬迁不可。
风铃丁东，外面的风是燥热的。这风铃的声音大约在这里响了十年。此刻金属的丁东声格外意味深长，这里的音乐到了最后的尾声。
命运中的变数定数都是不可抗拒的，这种不可抗拒规律他不止一次地经历和应证过。事到临头只能顺变而变，顺定而定。你不愿意，事情的结果不在乎你的态度。大学里学的国际政治专业，现在的职业是酒吧老板，这其中政治和经济、政治和人最起码的关系只有天知道。二十年前没有想到生活前景是今天这样。没有想到会同这样的女人在一起结婚生子，没有想到这样的生活一过就是十三四年。幼红怎样离开的，杨月琴怎样来到的，全不是自己的本意。十年前回到这个城市，开这样一个酒吧也不是自己的本意。所有的忙碌，所有的单调，最后都变成疗伤的药。可那个伤，伤在心底很深的地方。没有药能疗好。
楼梯拐角处一面是玻璃窗，一面是圣像。这张圣像要留在这里和这幢房子一道毁灭，让耶稣再次受难。
一个模糊的人影坐在昏暗的角落，面对最后一抹浮光渐渐变暗消失，面对那些金色银色的小星星暗淡、熄灭、消失。自从外面墙上被人用漆刷上了两个黑色的“拆”字以后，这日子是毛玻璃上面的树影，静止，晃动，静止、小晃动，大晃动，最终模糊、消失。
有的人生命会遇到一些重大的转折点，这些突如其来的转折把生活搞得面目全非，似乎不是一个延续。没有启，没有承，没有合，只有转，说人算不如天算或许就是这个意思。
老式挂钟当地敲了一下。钟上的时间是下午三点半。明天这个钟要从墙上拿下来，打包运走。酒吧三点钟营业，往常第一批客人总是在四点钟左右到。当第一批客人坐定，哪怕只有三两个人，他便在店堂里的一架旧施特劳斯钢琴上为他们弹奏一曲爵士乐。钢琴是祖父时代的旧货。弹奏技巧是童年时代记忆，爵士乐是大学时代记忆，都是旧货。没有鼓，没有吉他，没有萨克斯，只有这架钢琴。缺失是自己命运的阴影。这个阴影在他成年之后一直尾随着他。起初并没有想到什么特色，是感觉上的需要，像天安门广场每天的升旗仪式一样，在这架旧钢琴上弹奏是凯斯酒吧的一天开始，也是他这个酒吧老板一天生活的开始。常有搞键盘的青年到这里来喝点什么，他们冲着他的弹奏而来。他的爵士钢琴在这个城市里是小有名气的，常有人通过各类熟人要拜他为师。而自己无意带学生。心情好的时候，会为他们多弹奏两首乐曲。不因为他们是音乐人，而是因为想留住酒吧的生意。曾有一个电视剧组想租用酒吧拍摄点什么，他婉言拒绝。生活习惯被搅乱了不说，还会生出一些不必要的麻烦，引起有关方面的注意。本来没有什么事，搞得好像有很多事。曾经有乐队来过，热闹了三个晚上，被人举报。田大卫的朋友和派出所的人是朋友，后来在五星级酒店请了一桌，夜里请那些人到夜总会去娱乐到凌晨三点，才把这事摆平。来联系的乐队不少，一律拒绝。多一事，不如少一事。没有乐队的酒吧照样有顾客。只要有女人，就有男人，只要有男人，就会有女人，买方、卖方，是供求关系。有男人有女人，酒吧就有生意。酒吧这么点大的地方，连包间都没有。
这里有黑白琴键，有日夜交替中轮回的日子，还有一只古老的啤酒桶模型。其实这些都是形式。除了音符，自己的心已经无处寄托。当然早已不在乎这样的寄托！钢琴是上个世纪的旧货。日夜交替中的日子是一个无奈。那只酒桶模型是请一个下岗的细木工做的，为了迎合顾客心理。几年前堂兄从台湾来，送给他两盘“当铺爵士”的CD。那时候大陆还没有这种CD的盗版。大多数发烧友都不知道。之后很长一段时间，在夜深时刻轮换播放这两盘CD，就像一个没有激情的男人轮流应酬老婆和情人，真亦假。播放出来的人声餐具酒杯的碰撞声充满荒诞的嘲讽。
听音乐的人不理解嘲讽，嘲讽就不存在。这两盘CD给酒吧带来了不少回头客。
酒吧不是高等人呆的地方。上个世纪中期以后这个国家就没有高等人。就没有贵族。农民革命，六十年之后才会出现新朝代贵族。
这个酒吧是这个城市亦真亦假奢华生活的标签。真正的另类是不会来这里，那些人连衣食住行都困难。酒柜上摆放的那几瓶有年代的葡萄酒全是假货。是真是假人们并不在意，人们在意的是有没有这样一种形式的摆放。
有一年夏夜，这里来了三个吉他手，其中有一个意大利人，那夜他在这里很即兴地演奏了几首曲子，陪同的两个年轻人也各弹奏了两首自创的乐曲。
人年轻的时候有许多激情，有许多关于激情的想法，这些想法是不是能实现，要看自身的运气和时代的运气。那三个人是过路客，路过这个城市，从这条路上经过，看到一个酒吧就进来了，就演奏了，喝了几杯啤酒就离开了。送他们到门口，看着他们背影消失在夜色里，眼睛猛然湿润，一种强烈的、至今都无法解释的伤感像网一样地网住了这么一个注定呆在酒吧里的中国男人。眼前是反复在梦里出现的情境：别人离去，而自己留下。
田大卫第二天早上过来说，有关部门已经在关注这里了，问那三个人是什么人？
什么人？过路的。
田大卫一脸将信将疑的样子。酒吧的经营项目里没有“乐队”这个项目，也没有“文化”这个项目。
他总是这么说，有关部门一直在关注这里的动作。从酒吧开张他就说这话。这里有什么动作？几乎没有他的熟人到这里来消费。中学里的同学只有他田大卫一个。大学里的同学几乎没有联系。至于别的经营，在南方可以公开交易的那类生意，这里是绝对不做。所有的赢利都是经营范围内的合法赢利。
确实有人关注这里，只要有一点点风吹草动，有关部门都会知道。
这个酒吧经营范围：酒水、咖啡、茶、中西简餐、西点。没有任何违法经营。至于顾客的私下交易，与酒吧无关。酒吧本来就是公共场所。
淡忘是困难的。想淡忘也是困难的。
那夜的情境好像又回到西南边境上的那个四季如春的城市，要是呆在那里不回来，生活或许比现在好。那里有太多的外国人，太多的风情女人，太多的花香和闲适。酒吧多，茶楼多，温泉多。那里的生活从晚上九点开始到早晨五点结束。凯斯酒吧的原始资金就是从那里带回来的。午后穿着拖鞋睡意蒙咙地在街上走，好像还在梦里，街要短就短，要长就长。阳光懒洋洋的，树影懒洋洋的，花香懒洋洋的，女人身上的衣服随时都准备脱掉。为什么要回来呢？没有人硬叫你回来，你为什么要回来呢？那里每天都有人来，都有人走，而一些人住了下来。住多长时间，什么时候走，他们自己也不知道。
离开那里的时候，并不知道，就这么轻易地离开了阳光和清洁的空气。
有些悲哀是深切的，可以用语言描述出来。这里谁也不是你的听众。
不能像那位老人一样坦白地对人讲述自己的经历，也不能像那个女作家一样，沉湎在意淫中，没完没了地杜撰情欲故事。
