Book Abstract

高峰之后并不是虚无，

而是另一座高峰1918年，杰奎琳·苏珊（JacquelineSusann)生于美国宾夕法尼亚州费城市。她父亲是一名画家，母亲是教师。她从小就聪明伶俐，父母对她的期望很高。母亲觉得她很有希望成为一名优秀的作家，而她却一心要当演员。1936年，高中毕业时，她不顾家人反对，来到了纽约，开始投入演艺事业。期间，她演过电影、话剧、电视。1962年，苏珊因为患了乳腺癌，做了乳房切除手术。大约在那个时期，她开始尝试写作。1966年，她出版了自己第一部小说《娃娃谷》。这本书成了当年最畅销的小说，并于次年被改编拍摄成电影。1974年，癌症夺走了她56岁的生命。她一生共创作了三部小说，都非常畅销。这使她成了历史上第一个连续三次进入《纽约时报》畅销书排行榜的作者。

安妮不愿依附于男人，敢于表达自己的意见，做自己认为正确的选择。分别拒绝和离开了两个追求她的富豪，选择了自己喜欢的人。为了友情，她差一点失去了自己的男友。为了自己的工作，为了不待在老家，她失去了一次爱情。

尼利在精神病院的经历，也给我们打开了另外一个世界。当我们贪图享受安逸的生活之时，有些人却在忍受精神分裂的折磨。作者的儿子就是一名自闭症患者，终生都是在精神病院里度过。这也成为她心中永远的痛。

珍妮弗因为癌症，失去了乳房和生育能力。最后担心男友嫌弃自己，选择了自杀。这也是社会面临的关于女性的问题。我们对待她们的态度，很可能就决定了那些女性患者的人生。作者在自己身患绝症时，励志写作，其用意实在可贵。她在替那些当事人向社会呐喊。

一个明星从成名到老去，是一个轮回的过程。在每个人启程时，总是义无反顾地攀登高峰。真正到了山顶，得到的却是孤单。最难过的是成功之后，要面临更多压力和挑战。最后，不得不求助于药丸，来麻醉自己。不能真正得到解脱，就只能交给幻觉。
