《人文读与收藏·良友文学丛书：移行》是我国现代著名作家张天翼的一部短篇小说集，1934年由良友图书印刷公司出版。这部小说集共有9篇，《人文读与收藏·良友文学丛书：移行》是其中的一篇，其余几篇是《包氏父子》《保镳》《我的太太》《直线系》《朋友俩》《笑》《温柔制造者》《欢迎会》。张天翼最大的文学创作特点就是讽刺，他讽刺的笔锋几乎触及社会的各个角落，塑造了许多栩栩如生的讽刺典型，如《包氏父子》中虚荣、虚伪的包国维，《保镳》中狡诈、阴险的向连长，《我的太太》中娇气、做作的“太太”，《直线系》中穷酸、潦倒的敬太爷，《人文读与收藏·良友文学丛书：移行》中动摇庸俗的女知识分子桑华等。给编者印象最深的是《包氏父子》，老包的辛酸、逼仄、绝望也让人紧紧揪心。

Author Description

张天翼（1906-1985），原名张元定，字汉弟，号一之，笔名张天净、铁池翰、翼之等，湖南湘乡人。现代小说家、儿童文学作家。毕业于北京大学。1929年正式开始职业写作生涯，1931年加入左联。代表小说《包氏父子》《华威先生》《在城市里》《一年》《洋泾浜奇侠》等，以讽刺与幽默擅长，揭露人性的虚伪丑恶，抨击畸形社会的弊病。而他的童话作品《大林与小林》《宝葫芦的秘密》《秃秃大王》等，家喻户晓，深受读者喜爱。

一
枱灯的流苏给风飘得一荡一荡的。桑华瞧窗子了眼，又把眼睛钉到枱灯上：她的脸子给映像一颗山楂。
窗外有谁在唱崑曲。桑华轻轻皱一下眉毛：嘴里忽然有了许多唾涎，彷彿在吃着酸梅子。于是她拈一粒糖送进嘴，说起话来就含含糊糊的：
“六姐你往下说罢。”
那个所谓六姐正抽着烟，眼睛钉在一幅画上。
“唔？”六姐转过脸来。“我刚才说到了什么地方？”
“你对我的批评。”
“唔，”那个把身子坐正点儿，敲了敲烟灰。“你的生活好像是，我说你……”
桑华紧瞧着那位六姐，不过有时候也得瞟镜子一眼，瞟一下就得把自己的姿势稍为改动一下。她把嘴里的糖轻轻嚼着：不叫出点儿声音。她每逢别人谈到她的时候就拼命注意着。她爱别人批评她。
谁都夸她好。她有钱。她喜欢热闹：湖上唱崑曲的那批男男女女就是她请他们到她这别墅里来过夏的。
还有呢——
“桑华好像天生的就这么高贵。”
从前她和她老太太过着清苦日子，可是她并没半点小家气。
有些人就叹口气，羡慕她丈夫那些橡皮买卖和糖的买卖，那些银行里的存款。并且她花钱的方法挺有道理：
“她真会寻快活。做人做到像她这样就再也没什么缺限了，她真是。”
那些话并没说过火。桑华一听见别人谈到她，她就得拼命把得意的顔色关到肚子里，装出挺小心的样子，像小孩子在等着挨骂似的。有时候她可忍不住轻轻笑一下，肩膀也就跟着扭一下，然后就瞥镜子一眼：看看脸上的红粉给汗洗走了样子没有，坐着姿势够不够漂亮的，等等。
这回她躺在沙发上的姿势正合式：唔，不用改动。只要注意地听着就成。于是她就紧瞧着六姐那张动着的嘴。
可是她有时候想了开去：
“男子跟女子的分别在哪一点呢，像六姐这样……”
六姐这么个怪人——不男不女的。脸子就只是一张脸子，一点人工加上的花样都没有。头发剪得很短。腰扳挺直。哇啦哇啦谈着。她说起话来就像有根绳子拴住着你——叫你跟着她走。
话锋转到了这年头的那个。
“瞧瞧这年头儿！”六姐吐了一口烟，给风吹得潮似地滚着翻着。“你到底想过没有：你这种舒服日子还能过几天，嗯？你做人不方法是，我说你……”
停停。
“我说你是故意不去想外面事，连报纸都不看，瞧一个劲儿躲在别墅里。就如现在橡皮跌了价，那你们……外面的事你不敢去想，一想到就未免太煞风景，是不是。其实像你这种聪明人……”
她瞧着桑华的眼睛。
桑华的眼睛钉着她自己的手：指甲是朱红色的，油油地发光。她挺有礼貌地吞了嘴里的糖，嘘一口气。
“别谈那些罢。……我是——我是——活一天就享一天乐。”
“一个大变乱一来呢，那你怎样去……？譬如像一二八那样……大变乱什么时候到来是没准儿的，也许几十年之后，也许很近——也许明天。……也许你们那橡皮生意……”
“明天！”桑华把眼睛抬了起来。“那我就宁可死：明天来我就明天死。”
那个笑了一笑，站起来对着窗子站着。过会她掉转身子把脸对着桑华。
“五叔五婶给你的那种教育大概很有点分量的，”她说。“他们只有你这么一个女儿，他们就把你造成一个……”
“造成一个什么？”桑华习惯地瞟镜子一眼，可没移动一下她的姿势。
“一个什么：一个娇小姐。”
桑华微笑起来：
“怎么呢？”
“怎么：他们什么都依你，叫你快活。他们教会你种种的小姐劲儿。他们把你弄成个怪高贵的骄小姐。然后——然后——嫁给一个大阔老，那你一家人就都挺舒坦，挺……”
“呃，那不。我没这么听话：那年爹爹要把我许给一个什么金家——我不是怎么也不肯答应么。你知道的。”
站在窗子边的人把烟屁股往窗外一摔：
“现在呢？”
“嗯，那是两回事，”桑华的脸发着热。“现在的结婚是我自己的那个，我自己的……”
六姐那些短发给风吹得披至额上，她用手掠开一下，就回到原来的椅子坐着，把右腿搁上左腿。
“你现在这种生活哲学当然是你小时候所受的教育的结果。不过我不知道你这十来年是……”
她紧瞧着桑华的脸，用种满不在乎的样子说着话。她虽然算是桑华的堂姐，看着她长到十几岁，可是近十年来没见过面。只听说这位娇小姐还没读完大学，找着个职业混了些时。六姐就猜她这十来年所受的教育也不过是这么一套：只是现在这种太太生活的准备。
“你一定是，我猜你准是给小姐气氛包得紧紧的。什么事也不知道：你只准备着现在这种结婚生活。你的结婚是跟你那种生活哲起一贯的，是一种自然而然的……”
